Authentic experience

We had a really interesting tour guided by Franco. He has a lot of knowledge about everything in the Island. From history, culture, food, beaches to everything we could imagine. He was willing to go the extra mile for us to have a great experience. I definitely recommend his agency. The family we visited was really welcoming and willing to teach us some of their culinary traditions. Hands on tour!

A day in the life
Franco was an awesome tour guide! He was deeply passionate and took his time to explain the details of the Sardinian life! The family was wonderful as they opened up their home to my family of 7 including adults, young adults and teens. Each one of us was engaged and had the most memorable experience that won’t be forgotten. Thank you for giving us a beautiful experience and we are so proud of our Italian heritage!!🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹

Andare in trekking con Your Sardinia Experience ,vuol dire andare in sicurezza, e garanzia, esplorare bellissimi territori ,panorami mozzafiato, ad ogni trekking che partecipi , è sempre entusiasmante ben gestito con programmi e mete sempre super interessanti rientri a casa con un bagaglio di cultura mille informazioni flora e fauna e territorio.Grande professionalità di Checco e preparazione di ogni accompagnatore ,consigliabile agli amanti della montagna e non solo il divertimento è assicurato.

Amazing!

This tour is an absolute must for anyone wishing to experience the authentic Sardinian culture! Our guide Francesco was brilliant, providing lots of information about the island. We were treated like family the moment we entered the house. After a quick tour we started the pasta and bread making lesson from his mother, aunt and great aunt. It was a really hands on experience which we loved! The meal we shared was delicious and wine excellent. We also went around the village and visited museums and a carpenters workshop. Thank you Francesco and family for such a wonderful day!

A truly great experience

We cannot recommend this experience enough. Francesco was our guide and host and we couldn’t have asked for more. He shared with us a lot of information about Sardinia and the Sardinian lifestyle and is incredibly knowledgeable. We really enjoyed visiting the village of Aritzo where he is from and it was a pleasure to meet his lovely family, who we spent the afternoon with. We learned to make bread & pasta which was a lot of fun and his family were so welcoming. The food and wine were also a huge highlight. A big thank you to Francesco for this well thought out and worthwhile experience.

Aritzo - Family Experience

We can truly say that we have never been on a better tour than this Aritzo family experience. Francesco brought us to his charming village in Aritzo. We met Francesco’s family who made us feel very much welcomed and their generosity very genuine. The bread and pasta making was a fantastic experience. Definitely worth the money invested. Big thanks, Francesco.

Best day trip!
We booked this day trip to discover more of Sardinia & what an amazing trip it turned out to be! Francesco our guide was so lovely, incredibly knowledgeable & very passionate. We went to the village of Aritzo & met Francesco's family where we helped make bread & pasta. His family were so welcoming & the food was out of this world. We also visited 2 museums which were fascinating.

This was such a great trip & a true local Sardinian experience. Honestly the trip at €150 is very cheap when you consider everything you get.

Would highly recommend this tour. Thank you for such a great day Francesco!

Great family experience

All'interno di un educational tour, dedicato alla Family Experience offerta da Your Sardinia Experience, siamo stati accolti nel Museo Etnografico ed Ecomuseo del paese, dove si conserva una bellissima collezione di attrezzi, utensili, oggetti di ogni tipo legati alla vita rurale, pastorale e contadina di un tempo.
Dopo una introduzione alla giornata e altri interventi tutti interessanti di diversi suoi collaboratori, abbiamo fatto una bella passeggiata per raggiungere il centro cittadino dove le diverse aziende che collaborano con Kekko ci hanno hanno offerto una ricca degustazione di prodotti tipici: salumi, formaggi, dolci, torrone e tante altre delizie.
Gli intagliatori del legno e forgiatori di coltelli ci hanno mostrato la loro arte e un pastore ha fatto il formaggio per noi.
Da qui ci siamo spostati nella casa dei nonni, un'antica abitazione nel centro del paese, graziosamente ristrutturata e risistemata per poter accogliere gli ospiti che vogliono partecipare alla esperienza in famiglia. Qui, oltre ad avere una ricca degustazione, abbiamo assistito alla preparazione del pane carasau e la mamma di Kekko ha insegnato a fare la pasta fresca.

Altra graditissima tappa per assistere alla preparazione della carapigna: il sorbetto tipico di Aritzo, preparato solo con acqua, zucchero e succo di limone, una specie di miracolo alchemico delizioso da vedere e da gustare!

Abbiamo poi visitato le vecchie prigioni e la casa De Villa, altre due tappe interessanti e ricche di storia della bella Aritzo.

Grazie Kekko per averci fatto vivere una esperienza indimenticabile nella tua Aritzo, nella tua casa, con la tua famiglia!
