If I could, I would have given it 0 stars. I along with my friend had opted for Hampta pass trek, even though the scenery and the landscape and the walk/trek up there was beautiful, Trekkers Of India did nothing but made it difficult to focus on the good things. From the very first day itself, after asking us to report at 12:30- they themselves arrive at 2pm and we started the trek extremely late at around 4pm. After taking the money from a few other trekkers for their shoes, they were not able to provide them with the shoes and had to go all the way back to Manali to get them, wasting all our time for another one hour. Now from the next day we all faced a lot of problems with the toilet for the rest of our trek. We were prepared for a dry toilet, we didn't expect anything luxurious but in these scenarios small things make all the difference. The toilets were dug too big, we had to sumo squt to relieve ourselves, no shovel was provided and when asked for it they always had a comeback saying "you don't need it" just cause it wasn't theirs and they had to return it to another camp. When we by mistake went to another camps toilet, we saw them having a portable western toilet seats and a tissue roll and a properly dug up toilet. One day our toilet was flooded and poop was floating up and when asked to change or give another toilet, the treak leader asked us to manage. They only dug another one when an elderly couple asked for it. And then also dug only one toilet for 40 people!!
We would always start the trek the last because our trek leader himself got up at 7:39 after asking us to wake up at 6. The trek leader didn't motivate us. On the second last day when another group joined us and we were short of tents and their solution- put 9 people in one tent! The food was not upto mark, for breakfast, one day we had bread pakoda dripping of oil! And then the other day onion pakodas. And when asked to provide something else, their reply for what we give is nutritious! Ya sure, we are kids who have no knowledge of nutrition! Yes that's how they treated us. Always had a stupid comeback. When asked for information about the trek, they guide had no knowledge. WE WERE NOT PROVIDED WITH BADGES OR CERTIFICATE AT THE END OF THE TREK! !
And we were taken advantage of being stuck with them. A couple had opted for offloading the second day and were charged 600 but the next day the same distance back was charged 1000 knowing that they would 100% offload. When we had enough and wanted to return a day before, on the same car another team was taking to hike up, we were said we had to pay 3000 bucks for it. And even after we decided not to go to Chandratal beacuse of such mismanagement and because of the fact that they would drop us back at 12am in the night, when asked for the luggage which were put in the locker room so that we could catch our bus, they answered with "there are 50 bags here, how would we know which one is yours"! Unbelievably. Would never trek with TOI again and would recommend everyone to avoid it!

Great team. Best services in Himalayas. Our trip with trekkers of india was amazing camps, food, leaders everything were too good. Will always trek with them

The company has most awful standard of service with complete motive of minting money . Setting a poorest standard of services they have never been clear with the refund policy and has never reverted back on any of the issue . it was just like a false promise made for refund with no follow ups or feedbacks . extremely unprofessional and money making motives have been prioritized .please refrain from booking any trek

My experience was amazing. Professional team high quality food and life time memories. They treat so well with delicious meals at such high altitude I didn’t expect such good experience. Highly recommended trekking company in India. I will trek every time with trekkers of India

Me and my friends recently went to Kashmir Great Lakes through trekkers of India and our experience with them was truly horrendous.
First off, they had promised to take a group of 15-20 trekkers which was not at all the case. We had become a group of 45 people and they had outsourced everything to a different companies without any quality checks.
Secondly, even though the guides were helpful there was gross mismanagement of almost everything from tent allocation to camp sites and horsemen. No one was allocated specific tents so it was always a first come, first serve arrangement, which led to everyday discussions about whose tent is which especially after such long walks.
And we were told that if we had to use a buffer day the trek would be extended by a day, which wasn't the case here and we were made to cover a distance of 23kms (which is supposed to be a 2 day distance) in a day because the contractor company's horsemen weren't ready to accommodate to this reasonable request.
The only good thing about this trek was the food and the people there.
I strongly recommend to go with Trek The Himalayas as they had really good camp sites alongwith proper camping arrangements.
