We booked the private driver (Dino - amazing, warm, and the nicest man you will ever meet) through Sofia and had a tour guide (Antonio) for Pompeii. Afterwards, Dino drive us over to the Bosco do Medici winery for lunch. We loved our sommelier Matteo. He was engaging and very funny Truly an AMAZING experience and worth every penny! ❤️❤️

Gennaro, our driver, was very friendly and informative. He drove us from Salerno to Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii. He shared stories of his life in Pompeii. Upon the return to Salerno he recommended restaurants and gelaterias to try. As we were later going to Calabria he also spoke highly of Tropea. He was concerned for our comfort throughout the day and made sure we were having a nice experience.
Teresa, guide at Pompeii, was very knowledgeable. We had a great experience. It was so much better than trying to view the ruins by ourselves. We were amazed at how advanced the civilization was at the time prior to the first volcanic eruption.
