Avoid Calpe at Xmas it's a ghost town. A film set for apocalypse zombie. Outbreak. Alien invasion. It feels like 4am all day, even the seagulls are feeling it and the dog walkers look depressed. Well, it's like this at the rock and lake end of town, or am I in ground hog day loop dreaming of escape like 1984. But summer will be different. I'm just reviewing Xmas in Calpe. It's seems a overly town. But not in winter.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It’s such a shame you were not able to appreciate the natural beauty of your surroundings on the day and were apparently more interested in the commercial aspect of the town whilst you were there. Calpe is beautiful with lots to see and do, such as the ancient Roman baths, the peñón de Ifach or of course a walk along the shores of its stunning beaches. There’s only ones imagination that can limit you on a day to Calpe!

A group of 8 booked was told the wrong pick-up point. there were also 2 others that was told the same. when we went to complain the reps were extremely rude saying not their problem. We all was a no show. We all paid 27.5 euros each and they really were not bothered. We paid for taxis to meet the bus at the first destination to be greeted by another rude rep who was only interested in selling tickets for the museums. This was the shop near the Melia. AVOID AVOID.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I would like to point out though that you were not at the correct meeting point and we were able to show you photografic evidence of this, but you still disputed that we had ever been. For some reason, you had taken it upon yourself to stand in a point that you had decided and not that which was indicated either on your ticket or on the WhatsApp confirmation with the link to Google maps showing the exact meeting point which you chose to ignore. Rude, yes you were so we are thankfull to read that you will avoid us in the future.

We were given wrong instructions to board our coach - so missed it!
Went to the office where we booked to tell them the predicament. The staff were not in the least helpful. In fact she was defensive and aggressive from the minute we voiced our complaint! Pathetic individual with no communication or social skills whatsoever! Apparently it was our fault that we followed the instructions given!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I think it important to first of all indicate that we can only operate our excursions if we have passengers on board, so it then makes no sense for us to provide incorrect joining details. To try and overcome this, we clearly mark on all of our tickets the meeting point and time, we also send by WhatsApp a copy of the confirmation and a link to Google Maps showing the EXACT meeting point, for those individuals that choose to use it. We then have travellers such as you who ignore all of the above and presume you know where the bus will stop and in which direction it will be going in and that is why on the day of your excursion, you were stood at a bus stop 10 metres away from the specified meeting point and NOT the location where we collect from. Due to YOUR mistake, YOU missed the excursion and then thought it appropriate to blame everyone other than YOURSELF, even though we were able to provide you with photografic proof that WE were in the right place at the right time. You may wish to consider your actions in the future and possible follow the clear instrustions you are given. We welome all feedback but please be honest about the events that occured.

We had the best day we’ve ever had on a holiday. (We’ve been coming to benidorm for 5 years) Never done something like this before but it was recommended by our reception team.
We went to Guadalest and Algar and it was the best day ever. The weather was perfect and the timings were perfect.
Kathy was absolutely fantastic and she made the trip amazing in my opinion. Her skill in being able to accommodate both English and Spanish was impressive and she was an all round great tour guide. She was always happy and bubbly and made a good first impression. Unfortunately, some of the locals did not appreciate Kathy’s talking whilst driving around, however the English really appreciated all the background knowledge. I hope Kathy knows everything she was saying was interesting and really helped pass the time on the journey. Excellent job 10/10 would love to do an excursion with Kathy again.

Excellent day out to Guadalest and Algar. Luxury coach with air-conditioning Wilf the tour guide made the day with his humour and friendliness. I would recommend tours with this company 100%

This is a great way to visit Guadalest and the Algar waterfalls. The trip is very well organised, the bus clean and modern and our guide Cathy was very welcoming / knowledgeable. You get ample free time in both locations to enjoy at your own pace. For the Albir collection, we had been waiting at the Albir Playa Hotel but the pick-up point was actually the roundabout in front of the hotel which we thankfully clarified via telephone as the bus was running slightly behind. Other than this, the experience was very seamless.

We spent more time on the bus picking up others up than at each destination, very disappointed this time. Lisa wasn’t very clear on pick up time in Guadalest she said to be back for 13:15 but didn’t show up to the bus till 13:45, wasted 40 minutes sat around. Been to waterfalls a few times & had plenty of time to walk around, get food etc but this time we had to make a choice, walk around or eat! Wouldn’t recommend doing both on one day due to limited times. Picking others up took 2 hours.

I am sorry that you didn't feel you had enough time in each destination, we do clearly state that you will get two hours from arrival in all of our marketing material. With that in mind, it was only you that made the mistake whilst in Guadalest and came back for the bus 40 minutes early. All other 53 travellers arrived back at the time that Leisa had stated. It is impossible for our pickups to have taken 2 hours. Our first possible pickup is at 09:45 and our very last 10:55. On this excursion we had three buses each of which with no more than 6 stops and a maxium pickup run of 45 minutes, we are not aware of any problems with traffic or anything else that would cause a delay making your statement of 2 hours to pick people up being untrue. We welcome all feedback and comments, but please make them factural for other people informtation.

We had a time of 10am to be at the pickup point and the coach arrived at that exactly that time. There was one last pick up after that and we arrived at the falls arouind 40 minutes later.
