Excellent food tour. Tour guide does an excellent job of explaining the history behind each food and organizes the tour into the past, present, and future districts. Highly recommend!

We just had an amazing walking food tour with Sidney. He's an amazing guide and we got to learn about historic and modern Japanese history via food tasting. I have been to Tokyo many times and I haven't visited some of the places we went to during this trip. Also, I got to try a few local food items that I haven't tried before. Highly recommended!

... what more can you ask for? We’ll keep the secrets of where we were taken, and what we ate, because it’s best that you discover this for yourself. Sid will guide you through some of the best food you’ll eat in Tokyo, with context and historical insights that make it all fit together perfectly.
The tour itself was impeccably organised, and Sid was extremely welcoming and easy to get on with. The food was amazing - some things we’ve heard of but never tried, and others that were totally new and surprising to us. You’ll leave full and very happy.

As we travel more and more, my partner and I have started to prefer walking tours that expose us to the culture and history of where we're visiting, giving us some orientation to some key landmarks. And of course, we can't resist a good food tour!
That's why we were so drawn to this tour, it's the best of both worlds! And it really did not disappoint. Sid was knowledgeable, personable, and fun to hang out with for the 5ish hours of the tour. As promised, you do spend some time talking about the past / traditions of Tokyo, the modern era, and where things might be going in the future. And the different tastings ran the gamut, including a number of popular dishes I wouldn't have even known to seek out on my own, as well as some really delicious versions of our old favorites like curry udon, karage, and mochi.
Highly recommend! The tour was one of the highlights of our vacation.

First time in Japan and I haven't had much Japanese food before aside from regular sushi and rolls in America. But after going on this tour i was exposed to alot of Japanese food that I never would have had before. And they were all delicious! I loved the satsuma-age and fruits sandwiches. There was also so much culture and history behind these foods. The theme of travelling through time through food also made it very engaging and interesting. Arigatou!

We are so glad we booked this guided tour. We have done similar tours in other countries and been very pleased. This trip did not disappoint either. The guide was very nice, personal, engaged and knowledgeable. It felt like we were walking with a friend. We learned a lot of useful information about history, culture and food. We highly recommend this trip.

Cannot say how much my family and I enjoyed this food tour. Our guide, Sid took care of us well and taught us so much about foods we've never tried or heard of before. Definitely recommending to friends and family.

Thank you Sid for a great day out! It was my favourite day in Tokyo. I’ll be recommending this to friends and family going to Tokyo next year. I loved the concept of past, present, future. The shops that you took us to were fantastic, and the staff made me feel so welcome. You did an incredible job and I wish you much success with the tours. Genuinely the best tour i’ve been on.

We tried lots of delicious food that we would have never expected to eat in Japan! Sid, our host was very friendly and helpful throughout the tour. There was a lot of history behind each food we tried and an interesting story behind each one. Definitely a fun and unique experience.

For over 14 years being local here, to be honest I was amazed by the tour content. Well designed and explained by the nice and dedicated tour guide guy Sid. No matter whether you are first time here in Tokyo or not, if you are interested in what and where that actual locals eat, this tour is just for you to choose!
