An excellent introduction to the art of ikebana! It is definitely more technical than we imagined but thanks to a comprehensive tutorial it was thoroughly enjoyable. Even my reluctant partner was pretty good at it with the Sensei and assistants being surprisingly impressed with his work. Arigatou gozaimasu!

It's my first Ikebana class and I learned a lot from the teacher. He went through quite a bit of the concept and theory behind this art and that took up about 1/3 of the class. It may not be the most interesting bit but I am happy to have learned so much from him.
Later on, he guided me on the flowers I've picked and how best to create a beautiful piece. After the 1st round, I had to take it all out and redo it on my own. It was an eye opening experience and the staff was on hand to help out. They were very friendly and encouraging too. Even teaching me how to use the cutter in the right way.
I've taken away a lot from this class and am very happy whenever I look back at my Cherry Blossom and Tulip creation. I'll recommend this place to go for your first class and understand the art of Ikebana better.
