Maki sensei makes the experience so interesting!! You never realize the details, the care and the expertise required for shodō until you try it, and her workshop is the perfect way of start in the amazing world of Japanese calligraphy. I really recommend to attend this experience, I promise you will leave with the need of learning more! まき先生、どうもありがとうございました！！

My friend and I went to do the calligraphy class and had a fantastic time. Maki was so kind and an excellent teacher! I love the calligraphy I was able to take home and have in my apartment. The location is also very close to Shibuya so it's very easy to get to. I would absolutely go back again with friends!

Maki-Sensei welcomed my friend and me into her home for a wonderful Shudo class. We spent time learning about Japenese characters (Kanji, Hiragana, Katakana) while practicing calligraphy with special brushes, ink and paper. We really enjoyed the opportunity to create our own little pieces of calligraphy art to take home and remember this day. Maki-Sensei is extremely welcoming, kind and knowledgeable about Shudo. We are going to recommend this class to family and friends traveling to Tokyo.
