Maria helped us book a turtle tour, a horseback riding tour, and a coffee tour. All 3 were exceptional. Maria responded very quickly and arranged every detail. Each guide was knowledgeable as well as pleasant and kind. I was astounded at how much we learned while having the time of our lives. I would recommend everyone to use Maria to make your trip wonderful. She is the best!

We had an amazing guide. He found a nest of sea turtles just starting to hatch. We got to watch 100 babies emerge and walk to the sea. Awesome!

I am so glad I found Maria!! I actually booked 3 tours through her - turtle nesting (amazing experience!), the local Costa Rican experience (with Luis - highly recommend!) and the bicycling tour (much harder than I anticipated and I ride at home regularly).
Maria is so responsive and easy to work with - I had some tours in mind that she steered me away from because conditions/time of year wouldn’t have given me the best experience. I appreciated her advice so much. I even got to experience a new tour (waterfall swim/hike in the local Costa Rican tour) and she came along all day to make sure it was up to snuff. She was a blast to be around and I felt safe (as a solo female) with all the guides she arranged for me. Thank you, my friend!! Pura vida!

Vous pouvez faire tout ce que vous voulez. Maria va tout faire pour satisfaire au mieux vos envies. Que ce soit la plongée, les tortues ou les dauphins tout est LOCAL et à prix raisonnable.

Abbiamo prenotato questo tour per vedere le piccole tartarughe uscire dalle uova e aiutarle arrivare al mare! Maria ci ha consigliato il giorno esatto e abbiamo incrociato le dita! La schiusa delle uova avviene fino a fine novembre, ma straordinariamente in questa spiaggia le tartarughe nidificano anche dopo. Una guida ci ha accompagnato per un piacevole viaggio in macchina di 45 minuti fino alla spiaggia. Un po' lungo, ma ne è valsa veramente la pena! Abbiamo visto e aiutato centinaia di piccoline ad arrivare alla spiaggia, è stata un'esperienza unica e ringrazio veramente gli organizzatori per essere stati così gentili e disponibili!!!

We found Maria at the stall in Samara and asked her about the Turtle tours. She was incredibly helpful, honest and offered us the best and most complete tour.
Mario, our guide, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and we all learned a lot about turtles.
We will never forget our evening tour on Playa Corozalito.
All together we can highly recommend Maria and Blue Zone CR and would book with her again.

We had booked a tour to see the mass arrival of the turtles at Ostenial. After checking with various tour guides we decided to go with Blue Zone CR as Maria has a great personality and seemed extremely helpful and interested in making this a great experience, especially for the 4 kids we were traveling with. Though the initial price was higher than a competitor we still felt more at ease to book withMaria.
To make it even a better deal for us she gave us a very good discount and eventually the tour was worth the money. We were lucky to be in time for the mass landing at Ostenial for the turtles to lay their eggs. We went in the afternoon and watched in the sunset a turtle to lay her eggs, burry them, do the whole process and go back into the ocean. The guide at the tour was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and we learned quite a lot about turtles. Also everyone on the tour was very much making an effort to make the experience great for the kids. Who loved to be that close to a turtle in wildlife.
All together we can highly recommend Maria and Blue Zone CR and would book with her again.
