A very nice track.
The first 500 meters were steep, then pretty straight ahead. The route is across the jungle, sometimes having to climb over branches or roots or through below. Bina (guide) was very nice and could give much information about the plants and animals.

We had a great jungle tour with Wit. He always provided us well with snacks and took small breaks during the hike, so we managed the first relatively steep 2km well and from there it went very relaxed. We saw some spiders and cicadas and lots of great nature with huge tree roots and bamboo. Wit led the tour great and very funny and we enjoyed it a lot. Also the food in the restaurant (we had Pad Thai) was great!

Intermediate 6km hike. Very fun and educational. The jungle is beautiful and very humid. Be advised, there are many steep 'steps' along the trail and several trees and vines that you will climb over and duck/squat under. It may be challenging for some. The guide was great and knowledgeable of the plants and animals. We had a friendly but shy dog follow us the entire way.

Best hotel in Laguna , The staff are really friendly at front especailly khun Pui , housekeeping is fantastic.An atmosphere of our relaxation and l' be back with my family again on next holiday

Our tour guide Pui was extremely knowledgable and relaxed. We hiked for around 6 hours at a medium - slow pace. Learnt about animals and plants of the forest. We’re fed banana’s, coconut sticky rice and a delicious Thai lunch… and even jumped from a log into a lovely cool pool at the base of a waterfall :) super fun day out and a lovely jungle experience. Would thoroughly recommend!

Thank you very much for your review and for joining our hike in the Khao Phra Taew national park. Your review title says it all! Jumping from a log into a natural jungle pool is a must do, the water is so refreshing. Thanks for the recommendation also and we hope to welcome you again one day on our tours!

Was a really pleasant day of hiking in the jungle, with transfer (but not from Chalong), food, water and information + nature trail. I know this is going to be criticism at a high level now, found it personally too lax, for someone who has a big dog and can well and gladly hike 40km at a time, 38 years 75kg and in my opinion only Average sporty.

Good nature experience with a skilled guide.
A 6-7 km walk through the national park.
A nice to sometimes a little hard hiking, we were 9 group plus our skilled guide Pui.
A good trip with a lot of mediation, including food at the end.
We had our 8 year old with us on the trip. She thinks it was a long and hard walk!

We had a great day with Pui and our driver. Unfortunately my new shoes and really heavy down pour of rain made it too risky to continue with the hike. We turned around to go back as they had flooding and closed the week prior. We were shown the local area with the rubber trees, palm oil trees and shared lots of local knowledge. We still got to see the waterfalls. It was an enjoyable day out.

Thank you very much for joining our rainforest hike and taking the time to review it. Shoes are important indeed, especially in the wet season, when the rocky parts of the trail might get slippery. The downpour this month was a few times indeed very heavy, the national park was even closed on some days. We hope to welcome you again one day while hiking or biking in Phuket

Merci beaucoup Mael pour votre review et pour avoir participe a notre randonnee guidee dans le parc national de Khao Phra Taew au coeur de l'ile de Phuket. Le parc est peu visite et la traverse que vous avez faite est meme interdite sans guide certifiee. Merci et on espere de vous revoir un jour sur nos tours!

This trip is very exiting and it was realy great to do it. The service is great and the guide is very expirienced and friendly. I recommend to do this tour, if you want to see a place with lass tourists and a part of unknown Phuket.

The Khao Phra Taew national park (un)fortunately is a rather unknown part of Phuket. Thanks for the recommendation also, and we hope to welcome you again one day on our tours

Hi lovely team, we booked your tour on the 9th January 2024 and I would like to know whether it is possible to have lunch without gluten. I will get very sick if I eat soy sauce, oyster sauce, Maggi or other powders. So I would need something plain, like plain rice or boiled egg or something grilled without soy or oyster marinade or anything containing wheat or wheat derivates... May you ask if that is possible?

Hi Nick, participants vary, we have the runners, but mostly people with an average fitness level who love the tropical rainforest. Our oldest participants was a fit 72-year old man. The total distance is 8km these days, a bit longer as we have to get around a few fallen trees. The first part is rocky and goes sometimes steep up, the last part steep down, but the trail is very dry in these period, which makes it easier then in the rainy season. Good shoes, like sports shoes, are important. The pace is not fast and our guide makes regular stops.
