I had the impression it was a sanctuary but seems like I was not informed correctly.
There were elephants but had a chain around the legs, they were to take photos with so you paid them money for photos, elephant back rides for 100 baht,
One had a wash in the small lake, there are a few sheep, goats and cow but all look not really well treated.
The little coffee, drinks stop is not bad had nice coffee based drinks.
Then there was a show which was one of the most bizarre events I’ve seen, singing, some dancing not in any particular way and no 2 people doing the same thing, a snake was lifted up, a girl/ ladyboy holding a kitten and singing, 2 parrots being run around on a girls arm.
I certainly wouldn’t recommend wasting money visiting.
I have been told there are better places nearby that respect the animals.

No idea why this states that the place is closed when it’s opened and with lots of tourism there !!?!!
Great elephant shows ,photos with snakes ,plenty of places to take beautiful selfies ,ducks in the water ,coffee is very well priced ,polite staff , you can easily stay here 2-3 hours watching the world ,will
