Wonderful experience!! Daphne coordinated two separate day tours for me. She was so responsive from the start, and listened to all the priorities I had in mind, and managed to put together two tours that were absolutely perfect and seamless, and customized to my preferences. Carmelo was our guide— he was so friendly and passionate. Also very timely, professional, knowledgeable, and adaptable. Daphne and Carmelo both ensured that we made the most of our time and had a fantastic experience in Taiwan!

Jessica was wonderful guiding my elderly parents for this tour to Jiufen, Shifen, and Pingxi. They really enjoyed all the historic insights and background she provided, as well as the pace of the tour.

We had Daphne as our guide. She made sure we maximized our time to enjoy every aspect of the trip. The tour takes you to wonderful areas for views, tea, history, nature and shopping.

We had an amazing day with Daphne as our personal guide. She was patient, fun, interesting, and kind! I’m so glad we went with a private WithLocals tour instead of a large tour group. My elderly mother was able to participate in all the activities but she needed to walk slowly and rest occasionally, and Daphne was so great at enabling that without us ever feeling like we were rushed. Thank you for a wonderful day!

We had a wonderful day trip with Daphne. She very knowledgeable & gave us the history of all the areas we visited. She knows the to go spots & best spot to take pictures. I highly recommend her if anyone ever decides to visit Taipei! This is a very nice tour to do. Thank you Daphne for a memorable trip! I will definitely look for you on my next trip back to Taipei!

We had an amazing day with Nicolas to Jiufen and Shifen. He was very helpful, flexible, and communicative when creating our custom itinerary. He gave great recommendations and let us also give whatever preferences we had for our tour. He was great with the grandparents and also kids in our party of 7. He was a very safe driver, he was knowledgeable about Taipei, Jiufen, and Shifen, and he led us to some great places to eat. He was also gracious with his time, and he was flexible with our dropoff point as we made a change last minute. I highly recommend Nicolas! I can’t wait to come back and book him for another tour.

Daphne is an incredible guide. She's so accommodating and kind and a wealth of knowledge! She was so easy to talk to and I felt like I really learned a lot about every town we visited and about Taiwan in general. Every stop had something interesting to experience. We stop to have tea and a snack, which was fun and delicious! All the beautiful scenery and multiple opportunities to try local bites was an added plus too! We ended our day with a beautiful lantern experience, which was perfect.

Chia Chien is a great tour guide and she is well educated . I had a super time and she explain everything in detail. her English is very good. she has a new car and her driving is very good. I will recommend her to anyone

I really cannot ask for a better person to bring us along on our 1st
experience off grid of Taipei! Jack was simply fantastic bringing us
everywhere as well as very friendly. So many times he went out of his
way to make sure we are entertain and comfortable. I will resommend
him for sure to anyone who is looking for a fun time at Taipei!

My family and I had a great time on the tour. We saw the old street in Jiufen, saw the waterfall at Shifen, and set lanterns off in Pinxi - all the activities we wanted to do! Thank being said, we didn't learn much about the places we went from our guide. I wish we had been told to bring rain gear as the guide said "it rains everyday!"

For the stop in Taipei 101, does this tour include ticket to the observatory?

I think that may be less than ideal. Firstly, when we went with Nicolas, he had a minivan whereas you would need a minibus at least. I did see minibuses in the car parks at some of the halts. However, I feel that 11 people descending on the shops in these places may overwhelm the shopkeepers too since all the shops we saw were small. I did not notice any shops where 11 people would not feel like a crowd.
Perhaps you should check with other tour operators.
