We truly enjoyed Martin Yang’s company. He made our trip very special. There were many surprised places he brought us to where we did not expect in the itinerary. He knew the places very well and took the trouble to understand our needs such as the food we wanted to have, the things we want to shop etc. He helped us carry our shopping things and most of the shop people know him that showed he is well liked and very experienced.
We felt bad that he worked till rather late. We came back to hotel at 8pm plus. He’s a very safe driver too even in the rain.
We were very happy to have Martin as a guide and will recommend him to our friends if they want to tour in Taipei.

Great tour, ideal group size, enough time for the sites, there was even water provided - I can recommend it wholeheartedly.

The actual tour does not match the itinerary in terms of duration. At the attractions, instead of the stated 1.5 hours and 2 hours you will get 1 hour to stay there, which does not give you the time to enjoy the attractions such as Yeliu and Jiufen respectively. The driver/guide is not aware of the itinerary and when asked about the itinerary he said he doesn’t know about it and he told us we need a private car if we want more time. Overall, the experience was super rushed and we did not get to enjoy truly exploring.

Il viaggio è stato ben organizzato, in parte rovinato da pioggia incessante. Posti interessanti e valeva il prezzo del biglietto. L’autista, di lingua solo cinese, ci è stato sempre accanto. Great trip, full day but didn’t feel like to much driving even though we cover a lot of ground. Martin was our driver and was helpful as a guide and photographer. We travelled on Friday so the traffic back to Taipei made the return trip longer than planned but can’t help the traffic. Great one day option to tick a few things off the list.

The tour was great even the weather was a bit rainy. The tour guide (小游）was very friendly and willing to answer any question we had. Since price of the tour was on the low side we didn't really have much expectations but it was always good to be surprised in such a wonderful way.

Writing this review while on the way back to my hotel.
The ride arranged for us was a classy black Mercedes Vito, which was very comfortable and clean.
Procedure was drop off at places of interests, and then it was up to us to explore on our own and to return at a certain agreed time, which is what I preferred.
Our guide 小游 was extremely polite, describing places as we passed by and explaining in detail about the places of interests that we visited. Even though it was drizzling throughout the trip, our guide managed to keep up our interest and spirits high.
Highly recommend using their service. At this price , expectations were surprisingly exceeded.

My tour guide, Leon, was on time and very friendly! Excellent tour and very well organized! I would highly recommend this tour! Leon, our guide, was the best and very knowledgeable about Taiwan culture as well as other places in the world!

On a drizzly day we saw the Yehliiu Geopark, strange -whimsical formations. The Shifen falls were nice, but small. Juifen 'main street' is one long tourist shopping and food court. There were supposed to be views but with clouds fog and no guidance from the guide, we didn't see any. In Shifen we had fun with the 'Lanterns" We painted messages on the 2 foot square red nylon bags. Outside on the train tracks (2 trains actually came by) they light a fire in the bottom of the bags, turning them into miniature hot air balloons that fly into the air. Our tour was $35/per person Others got 3 for $80. I saw other tours for $100--way too much.

Our guide was friendly and service minded, but his English was only so-so, which made it a little difficult when asking questions. But apart from that, the tour was convenient and I enjoyed it very much. Several scenic stops along the way, where the waterfalls and Jiufen village were the highlights in my opinion. A very comfortable way to get around the north side of the island and explore outside of Taipei.

The rate shown is the minimum rate for the trip, I guess. When I clicked to buy, it turned out to be higher. But when I compared it with the taxi rate I got from hotel, it's the same rate. I thus decided to take this tour with other 6 people in the van. At least, I have a driver who can speak English well and he's very helpful.
