We spent half a day with our very friendly and knowledgeable guide, Seizo Kamiuto. We travelled efficiently via public transport and on foot to Shibuya Scramble Crossing, Meiji Shrine, the Imperial Palace, Yakuzuni Shrine followed by a delicious tempura lunch. We then ended our trip at the Sensoji Temple in Asakusa. Seizo made the trip interesting and informative with some humourous stories thrown in.

I myself enjoyed visiting popular sightseeing spots in Tokyo including Yasukuni Shrine and having a delicious lunch at a tempura restaurant in Asakusa with you.

Wonderful guided tour of the city. Our tour guide Emiko was awesome. She was really great with the kids and explained history and culture of the sites we visited. She also picked out a really nice Ramen place for lunch which we enjoyed very much !

My son and I visited Japan and Tokyo for the first time, so chose this tour the morning of our first full-day to acquaint ourselves with the city, transit system, and some major sites. Our guide Koba was fantastic and the tour surpassed our expectations. Koba began communicating with us about 2 weeks before the tour by email through the agency to understand our interests an decide upon an agenda for the tour. We chose to visit Asakusa. Senso-ji Temple, houseware shopping street, and Imperial Palace
Koba was on time and maintained communication. He met us at our hotel and away we went, learning to use the Tokyo subway and train system along the way. Our day was memorable and we definitely recommend and would book this tour and Koba again. Thanks for the experience of a lifetime.

Thank you very much for your positive review! I also enjoyed guiding you and your son. At the beginning of the tour, I understood that you would like to buy some housewares at the expert shops and added a visit to Kappabashi Street near Asakusa in the itinerary. I was very glad to see you purchasing the items you want. One pity thing was I didn’t notice you needed to bring your passport to refund the consumption tax (10%) at the street. I got one more point I need to improve my guide. Anyway, you both enjoyed the Tokyo day, shopping, visiting the world-famous Senso-ji Temple and the magnificent Imperial Palace.
Please do come back to Tokyo again, and I would be happy to guide you in the future!

Yoshi was a fantastic guide - we had a great time seeing the fish market, old town, and imperial gardens. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and we would definitely go back. A few sweet potatoes along the way are a must!

We really enjoyed our half day tour with our guide Miyuki. Her communication prior to meeting us was thorough and timely. She met us at our hotel then gave us invaluable guidance through the Tokyo subway/train system provided a basis for the remainder of our stay. Miyuki went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent experience. We highly recommend this tour.

Hello,
My friend and I are coming to Japan for an escorted group tour arriving in Tokyo on March 24th with a free day on March 25th. If possible, we would like to arrange for a private tour for the two of us. Meet at our hotel, Grand Nikki Tokyo Daiba at 11 am and take the train to Kamakura and spend some time there. We would like to have dinner that night in a Maid Cafe and perhaps see cherry blossom places not on our escorted tour and see interesting night time places in the evening with neon lights. Probable return to hotel would be 8 to 9 pm. Is this possible? If so what would the cost be? Our escorted group tour includes the fish market, Fukagawa Edo Museum and garden, Asakusa, Harajuku, Shibuya scrumble crossing, and Shibuya Hachiku.
We are interested in good photos and off the beaten path, authentic Japan, and something unique not included in our escorted tour.

Hello, it sounds fantastic! It’s possible to enjoy your dream tour. (Little bit a tough, though)
It takes 90min from your hotel to Kamakura and spend 3 hours to see major sightseeing spots including photogenic bamboo temple and enjoyable shop street. Then back to Tokyo and stop by Chidorigafuchi Park or Ueno Park for cherry blossoms on the way to Akihabara’s maid coffee. After dinner, you have a time to stroll neon and shopping street in Ginza and Shinbashi before you get your hotel.
