It was a fun, interactive, and informative virtual tour. The host/guide Alex keeps the discussion alive by his humor and extensive knowledge of Tokyo's two famous neighborhoods. I've visited Tokyo only for a short period of time without a tour guide but having a knowledgeable tour guide like Alex is highly recommended if you love to learn more about Tokyo and the best places to eat. This virtual tour includes a resource pack so you don't have to take notes in the middle of the tour. It's a great way to learn until you can travel to Japan.

Really great experience, learned a lot of new things for Japan and Tokyo. Big thanks t o Alex that he didn't canceled the walkthrough even that i was the only person. Hope to meet in person and grab dashi sake to drink :)

A fantastic experience with the very knowledgeable and passionate host Alex - you can tell he just loves Japan! Was a great way to reminisce over our time in Japan a few years ago - loved the Sushi eating class too!

We had a wonderful Father's Day Virtual experience of Shibuya and Shinjuku with Alex! I have been to Tokyo once and wanted to share a taste of the city with my husband. He loved the information shared and wants to visit Japan as soon as it is possible. Thank you for making his Father's Day special -- it was almost like we were there.

Thank you Alex for a great, entertaining and informative tour! It really brightened up 'lockdown' in the UK. Such a wonderful way to prepare for a trip to Japan. Will will certainly be in touch when we can finally book our Japanese adventure.

Like many people we had to cancel our planned 2020 holiday in Japan. On our first visit in 2019, we did a food tour with Arigato in Tokyo which was excellent. So I was excited to get their email newsletter in December where they had virtual tours available.
So far we have done two
- Christmas and New Years in Japan (in December) with Lauren
-Shibuya and Shinjuku (in January) with Alex
We thoroughly enjoyed both. Lauren and Alex clearly have a passion for their work which came across the Zoom connection. Both tours were informative and interesting, and brought back fond memories of our actual trip to Japan. It was also lovely to share these experiences with people from all over the world. Bit of a tease to see the food and not be able to eat it. But we took the inspiration to have Japanese for dinner instead.
Highly recommended. We might not be able to travel now (and for a while!) but this is very good. Arigato, Arigato!
So far we have done two

J'ai pris part à cette expérience online avec grand plaisir. Mon guide, Alex a été très sympa, il m'a fourni de nombreux conseils et anecdotes. Sa présentation était attrayante du débit a la fin. Un réel bon moment. Il me tarde d'essayer d'autres expériences en lignes. C'est même une formule que je pense offrir à des amis.

We held a virtual team event with ArigatoJapan and it was an exhilarating 1-plus hour of fun! We were 25 of us in the team and we were split into 2 groups. I joined the group hosted by Alex and the other team had Jordan as their guide. I have only heard good feedbacks from my team and the host did a fantastic job making the whole session engaging. The immersive contents were also very interesting, especially for many of us whom have not visited Japan.
Thanks again to the team for making this trip so enjoyable. Stay safe in this COVID times and looking forward joining the onsite tour with your team when i am in Japan.

Imagine thinking you were spending a weekend in Derbyshire with your son and then finding he had planned a Japanese theme, arranged a virtual trip to Tokyo and booked a meal in a sushi restaurant! We are seasoned travellers and loved the idea of visiting Tokyo from his home in Derby, in these Covid times. The experience was fun, interactive, informative and well presented with a good pace but also time for questions and answers. Jordan put us all at ease and encouraged us to bond as a group. The Zoom connection was really good and Jordan was generous with his time, overrunning happily as we responded to his enthusiasm for Japan and Tokyo. Thank you, Jordan. We had a great trip and learned the correct way to eat sushi, and lots more besides.
