Miharu was a great guide with lots of knowledge about the food and social history of the areas we visited. She chose a good variety of restaurants where we were able to sample a range of cuisines and have a true local experience. Highly recommend!

I was looking forward to a great night in Shunjuku but have to admit I was disappointed with this tour. Our guide was lovely but there was only my husband and I on the tour and this made for a slightly uncomfortable evening. I would have liked to learn more about japanese customs and the history of the area during the tour. The food was fine but there should be a mininmum number for the tour to take place. For a better experience, only book if you have a group with you.

I had a decent experience. The food was good but felt like bad value for money since you only get 3 meals which would cost a fraction of the tour price if you had purchased the food yourself. The drinks were good. The tour guide felt somewhat unfriendly and didn't share much information about Japanese culture

This is the perfect way for the Solo traveller to spend an evening !!! Our guide, Fumi, made sure everyone in the group was engaged and having an amazing time. Even though our group ended up being a bit larger that normal he kept us all comfortable and connected. I would absolutely do this again. Thanks Fumi !!!

Perfect tour if you like small groups and a more personal tour. We were a group of 3 and our guide was amazing. The price included all food and drinks. Went to a number of bars and restaurants where we were shown local drinking customs and etiquette. More importantly we ate dishes which we would not necessarily order ourselves which was a truly enjoyable experience.

This tour was brilliant and our guide was amazing, she was great fun, easy to talk to and told us everything we wanted to know about the area, the food and Japan in general. The restaurants we ate in were great and the food was delicious, would highly recommend this tour.

Great tour with an amazing guide who took us to some bars that you just wouldn’t find on your own, while answering our groups’ many questions about living in Japan.

This experience far exceeded our expectations. A fantastic way to see a city with a perfect guide. For any tourist the most challenging part of travel is the communication. With Ryo by our side we were able to navigate the city and see parts we would not ever see an absolute must for all travellers to this city highly recommended. Ryo was patient accommodating and gave us some valued insight into the culture of this beautiful land.

My husband and I just took this tour and had an amazing night! Ryo took us to bar places that were off the beaten path and the food and drinks that were served were AMAZING! We even learned some history about Shinkuju and Japan in general! We also felt like we made a new friend on the tour due to how welcoming and easy to talk to Ryo was. We had an amazing night and some of the best food we’ve had in Japan! Highly recommend!

No one notified our group that the tour was cancelled. After planning our entire day around it and meeting at the obscure location spot, we weren’t even explicitly told it was not happening, only recieving emails notifying us of our refund ten minutes after the tour was supposed to start. Disappointed, to say the least.
