非常棒的体验
我们有10个人一起住在那很棒很温馨的小木屋，感谢Hanna的推荐，我们参加了骑马行程，因为人数众多我们分两批，马儿们都好乖好可爱，被训练的很好，不用太担心自己是不是有能力驾驭马儿，可以完全放心地坐在马背上欣赏冰岛风光，虽然我们遇到下雨，还是觉得非常好玩，很值得体验。结束后，主人们还为我们准备了冰岛风味点心，简单好吃，也聊得很开心，再次祝Hanna生日快乐^^，此外，当晚我们非常幸运地在小木屋阳台看见了极光！一切是如此美好，thanks all:)

Highly recommend this private riding tour! Our guide Karina was extremely knowledgeable, competent, and friendly. After talking with everyone in our group individually, she picked out our horses and explained why she matched them up with us. She also described each horse's personality, and told us what to expect from them on the tour. The horses were very well trained and had wonderful temperaments. The scenery was so beautiful! This was my favorite activity on our trip.

Wonderful experience both for an experienced rider and beginner. Horses were well mannered and well trained. Scenery was extraordinary on valley and hill ride. Linnea led us through our ride calmly and professionally!

This was a lovely scenic ride; 2+ hours of actual riding. We also helped to tack up and turn out at the conclusion. Our guide was great about choosing horses for our respective riding experience levels. I don’t know if I’d recommend this ride for an absolute novice rider, but we had a rider with low-level experience and she was comfortable with the Icee gait. Given the time she took with us plus the great horses and beautiful ride, this was well worth a half-day experience.

Amazing experience being able to brush the horses, set up the saddles, and getting to know the horses. Also being able to pretty much ride at your own pace is really cool. Horses were beautiful, not your typical excursion horses that are tired and are used and abused. The views were incredible and the instructor was so kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommend

Best riding experience ever!
Been all over the world traveling and riding and this place is THE MOST authentic I have ever been. The relaxed and loving atmosphere and the fact that they only do private tour for the same price as the typical group tours just made this the best experience I have had in years!

A lovely couple of hours riding out in the countryside on safe and very well behaved horses. It was all very easy to organise and our guide was very friendly and approachable. We really enjoyed learning how to ride the tolt on our sure footed and well trained steeds! Thank you for a great time and we are now converts of the Icelandic style of riding!

Absolutely amazing ride! Our guide was so helpful and really cares about the horses. All the horses are well looked after and so they want to actually ride out and are great horses to ride. The scenery was absolutely stunning around the lake and seeing the mountains. We do lots of horse riding trips abroad and this ride is the best!

Without a doubt the highlight of my stay. Many different providers offer horseback rides, but I'm really glad I booked here. Well worth the slightly higher price. This is a small, family run business that puts the horses' well-being as the priority and you can tell. They are really well cared for; in no way comparable to what you might expect from a poor "tourist treadmill" horse that will just robot through its daily chores. These horses have character but are still very friendly and good-natured.
I fall into the category of "some riding experience", but it's been a while since I've actually been on a horse, so I was a little nervous, unsure how rusty I really would be. Linnea first introduced me to the horses and took time to find out what kind of experience I have, how confident I feel and picked the perfect horse for me from my point of view. Turns out there was no need to be nervous at all. I had a blast.
The ride itself was roughly 2 hours through the surrounding nature. Gorgeous, by the way. Had the chance to try out the different gaits, including Tölt, which was a fun new experience. Throughout the entire ride Linnea made sure both the horse and I were doing fine, kept giving helpful explanations and was adjusting pace and route as needed. And it was also great chatting with Linnea about horse stuff and other things. She also took the time to grab some snapshots of me she shared later, which was a nice additional treat.
As a side note, it's really easy to get there from Reykjavik via public bus (Line 15 goes straight there and back) - and that from someone who gets lost easily. Another bonus point is the good and speedy communication. We needed to adjust the scheduling some after I had already booked and messages were always prompt and clear.
In summary a wonderful and personal experience I can't recommend enough. I'll be back as soon as I have the chance.
