If you're from the UK and have been to a Go Ape site then you might find this easier and not quite as thrilling. The Go Ape slides are longer, faster and involve more climbing to get to each start.
Where the Antigua site scores higher though are the young, highly enthusiastic and entertaining (mad?!) team that help you safely get through the course. Had no safety concerns with either the kit or the staff.
We visited off season in July 2023, and had an enjoyable afternoon with around 16 people in the group going around with us. Not cheap, especially if you want to buy one of the photos they took of you. Still recommended though.

What a great experience! The rangers were funny, kind and friendly, which made the trip much more enjoyable and the views were spectacular. There were adorable puppies, cats, dogs, and budgies which you could see and stroke, and the zip lining was so fun! Zip lining through the tropical rainforest seeing the dense thickness of the vegetation was spectacular. My family and I (aged 13, 23, 25 and myself 42) had such an amazing experience with the rangers making funny jokes (Marlon’s banter and friendliness standing out to us), the amazing views and overall a highlight of the trip. Would definitely recommend to all ages and the experience of a lifetime.

the zip lines are fun! what's not fun are the female rangers who's only mission is to suck out all the fun in this experience. :/ rude and bossy making it more of a chore than a fun experience. male rangers were friendly and interacted with us. also, you can't take any pictures. not even when you gear up. phones and personal belongings are being put in lockers (free) as soon as you arrive. you can purchase digital pics and video for $20 per person ughhh

Arranged this experience through the Verandah Resort. You pay to take a cab (which you can share fare with other guests) and pay the zip line facility when you get there.
We did the 12 line course. Very safe and guides secure you all along the way. Worth the fee which wasn't pricey. Definitely do it!

They seemed to be short staffed. They had the same person sending us off of a platform and receiving us. I plowed in to my husband going quite fast.while they were unhooking him on a platform. Thankfully the worker was able to get us both safely on platform. Minimal instruction is given on how to do this activity.

Fairly short taxi ride to the place.
All the people working there were really friendly and enthusiastic, and the safety briefing was informative, without being overly long.
The ziplining itself was great! There were some long lines that gave a great view over the trees! The pictures and the video we bought at the gift shop were airdropped to my phone, which was nice since we could watch them straight away!
The only issue I had was that the prices they charged at the place itself was a lot cheaper than we had booked on TripAdvisor.
Also, we had booked the longer course, which we found out a couple of days before wasn't open.
We got our refund, but after seeing how much it was on the day, it felt more expensive than it could have been.
All in all though, we had a great time, and would highly recommend it to anyone that is thinking of going!

Another NCL excursion with a fairly short bus ride to the event. Like every NCL excursion it is going to be crowded and considering the safety aspect needed in doing zip lines, I wasn't to thrilled with that. Look for a smaller travel guide group.
Although overall the attendants were safety conscious; they were short-handed and there were times when you had to wait until they could shift from one platform to another and in rushing back and forth there were a couple of dicey times when people were not protected as well as they should have been.
There were 12 zip lines going back and forth across the gorge and although it was a great way to spend some time, the back and forth seemed to take a little away form the experience as we have done numerous others that weren't parallel and more exhilarating.
You cannot take pics, so again you have the option of buying a pic that is probably taken out of focus or when you were turned around the wrong way. Obviously I was not impressed with this aspect of the adventure. No go pros either.
There is a snack bar and souvenir store at the end along with a complimentary local drink. a decent end to a fun time.

This is an ideal half day out of the sun and doing something different. Great safety brief and kit and then throwing yourself off platforms in the rain forest. Staff are great and kids loved the cats and dogs who are well looked after there.

I really enjoyed it here. I booked it through my hotel. They picked me up and it was great seeing the island from the Jeep.
