The highlight of our trip! Highly recommend if you have the time. The views are amazing! The hike itself is not difficult. We had to navigate a few rocks/boulders but otherwise no problem.

Rodney was so helpful! I booked this hike for my husband and I as our excursion in Antigua. We were the only two on the hike, so we had a good amount of interaction with Rodney. He was right where he said he would be to pick us up (from our cruise port) and walked us to a clean vehicle with A/C and started our ride to the backside of the island (about a 30 minute drive). He was polite, informative and professional. He brought hiking sticks, water and Gatorade for us and we needed all three, lol. He asked about our hiking experience before starting (we're casual hikers), then gaged our speed/ability along the way. Unfortunately, I didn't pack my hiking shoes and wore my Chaco Sandals for the hike and ended up falling twice. (Tip - wear good hiking/trail shoes for this!). Rodney insisted on taking my hand and helping me along the trails that were at a decline, which was super helpful. The hike is not an extremely hard hike, but the path has some loose rocks that can roll and my shoes were a problem. Rodney was informative and shared knowledge about the plant life and history of the area. We sampled the fruit of the cactus/flower after he taught us how to locate and pluck them (pretty neat!). He even helped us bolder a little near the oceanside (it was gorgeous!). We had a great hike and were grateful to have had Rodney as our guide. He even offered us some of the fresh mango he had with him from his home on the way back to our ship (delicious!). If we hadn't done this excursion, we wouldn't have seen the most beautiful side of Antigua.
We appreciated the professionalism, organization and skill of our guide and would recommend to anyone considering this hike!

My family of four (54,54,23,21) wanted to do something off the beaten path during our cruise stop at Antigua. The four of us all wish we could have given MORE than 5 stars.
Let's start that the trail is a moderate+ hike, but sneakers were fine. The views were spectacular. What most impressed us was the emphasis on safety by Elvis. Some of our crew were a little less sure-footed than the others, and Elvis ensured we were all safely traversing the trail. There was never a rush for us to move quicker.
More impressively, Elvis opted not to take us around the rocks to the Pillars themselves, because the sea was too rough. Watching the water come in waist-high, he got no argument from us with that decision, but we could tell he was genuinely disappointed it wasn't safe.
However, the true highlight of the trip was Elvis, our guide. He was incredibly well-versed on the island's history, fauna, politics, and the entire trip was a learning experience. Of all tours we've been on, Elvis was easily the most outstanding guide we've had.
Had we made it to the Pillars, this tour would have been a 10/5. Instead it was only a 9.75/5, if you understand my meaning.
This is a must-do whether you are visiting by land or by sea (and ask for Elvis).

What an amazing hiking adventure without guides Rodney and Kemar. Our hike was the challenge we were seeking but there were a number of stops for quick history lessons, fruit sampling and of course photos. We covered every possible terrain and was rewarded with incredible vista's and landscapes. Antigua is a beautiful island and this hike will give you a taste of its preserved beauty. Highly recommended. Sign up!!!.

Amazing experience!! Highly recommend anyone visiting Antigua. Great mix of hiking and sight seeing! So many good photo ops! Valentine was our tour guide and really took the time to stop and tell us about the surroundings, history, everything!

This hiking adventure was amazing! Our tour guide was Elvis or Evan (I can’t remember his name). He was very patient and nice as he showed us around the island and told the history so well. There are a lot of great views, and this hiking tour brings you all the way to the highest point of the island! 500 ft. Wear comfortable shoes that have grip because you can fall. If you don’t mind burning some calories, take this hike. Well worth it 10/10

Let me tell you about the hike I did with Jashan to the Pillars! EXCEPTIONAL! She has extensive knowledge of the hiking trails and the island of Antigua. I have recommended her to all of my friends for their visits to Antigua! Thank you so much Jashan! We can’t wait to see you on our trip back 😊

Jeshan and Elvis made this an AMAZING adventure. Jeshan is a wealth of knowledge from sharing information on foods, the history, and celebrity info. She took some amazing pictures for us while giving us plenty of time to just take in the breathtaking views. Jeshan was on time and ready to go right away. Thank you for kick-starting our vacation.

Fabulous and fantastic! On time front door pickup at the resort. Water, Gatorade, power bars provided. The hike was awesome, the views were AMAZING...we just can't recommend enough! Thank you, we loved it! xoxo

What an awesome experience today was! Our tour guide, Jeshan, was incredible. She skillfully detailed the breathtaking landscapes and points of interests with her knowledge of the history and of the natural resources of this beautiful island. We even got to sample some dragon fruit! This excursion is a definite must for anyone visiting Antigua!
