I've been to Aruba twice and both times I have gone, this was my favorite part of the trip. The overall experience is a lot of fun. The crew is amazing, funny, and extremely friendly. And I also just have to give a big thank you to John. When my kids got in the water to snorkel at the shipwreck, the current was fairly rough that day. John saw my kids struggling to snorkel and swim with the strong current, even with their life jackets. so he grabbed a life preserver, got in the water with them, had them grab on to the life preserver and swam them around so they could snorkel and not have to worry about the current. That really made our day and showed just how amazing those guys are. John and the crew went way above and beyond. Thank you guys. We will definitely be going to jolly pirates the next time we get back to Aruba. Highly recommend this to everyone!!

We had a Jolly Good Time. Lots of fun, sun, laughter, dancing, swimming, snorkeling, and swinging from the rope. We saw a sea turtle surface and dive. The matees attending us were Jolly and helpful.

We had a fantastic time! The ship attendants were accommodating, enjoyable and knowledgeable. They told the story of the wrecked Antilla and history of Aruba. Someone lost their go pro and one the the attendants swam down and recovered it! The music was great, atmosphere fun and engaging. Would definitely recommend!

This was so much fun!! The crew was fantastic serving drinks and telling stories. We went to 2 shipwrecks, very cool and the water was amazing so blue and clear. The swing rope was a blast for all ages. Great Job by all!! Thank you Johnny Aruba!!!

Great time!
I was worried that because I was by myself that I wouldn’t enjoy this trip, but I was wrong. It was a lot of fun! The crew was awesome! Captain Jose, Glen, Daniel, and Milton were the best and made sure everyone was having a good time and stayed safe. There was a mix of young and old and they were having a blast, especially on the rope swing.

Definitely book this tour. The area of the Antilla wreck was more for experienced swimmers which was somewhat a bummer, but the second area was def worth it.

Very fun experience! No food served, but open bar throughout. Plenty of shade to sit in on hot days. The trip was a bit crowded (our boat and other boats near the shipwreck), but that would be the only complaint. Great for families and the swing makes this excursion unique and fun! Johnny and his crew were entertaining!

Does the crew get in the water or help new snorkelers? As a solo traveler is is best not to snorkel alone, but I am alao new to snorkeling.

It might be tight to get back for dinner. Our excursion departed at 2:00pm and I think we got back around 5pm. By the time we caught a taxi back to the ship and made our way back to our room to shower we chose to eat at the buffet that night. I guess it would also depend on how much you drink on the pirate ship. There is no food or snacks served but I don't think they mind if you bring snacks.

Hi. We were just there 2 weeks ago. It looks like it's less than about 2 miles away from La Cabana. Jolly Pirates is at Moomba Beach (part of Eagle Beach) which is just to the north of you. Past the bird sanctuary, then is the Hilton, the Hyatt, and Holiday Inn. It's right there between the Hyatt and Holiday Inn. I bet it would only be a couple minute cab ride. Have fun!

Hello! We are going to the Marriott Aruba Ocean Club in July. How far is it from there to where you get on the boat? Do you have to take a cab, or what is the best way to get there? We will have our 14 year old son with us and are trying to decide between the morning and afternoon sail. Thank you!

If you just look on the map, it’s extremely close. It’s at moomba beach. You don’t need a cab, just walk.

We are coming into Oranjestad in Dec on a cruise ship. How far is it to your pick up point (time & miles) and if you happen to have an idea of the cost for transportation?

We stayed at the Renaissance which is right across from the cruise terminal. Taxi was $13 and it was about 15-20 min ride. You must be there a half hour before departure time
