Wix Taste of Aruba

If you are looking for a taste of what Aruba has to offer in terms of their economy and exports, this is the tour for you. In this tour you visit an Aloe plantation and production facility, two local art stops including ceramic and glass blowing, rock formations, lunch and ending with rum tasting. Ruben was out tour guide and he was outstanding. I highly recommend this Wix 5 hour tour.

Ruben’s Aruba

Ruben our guide was fantastic introducing us to the islands products. Loved the aloe plant & visit to artist studios, cigars & rum. On the drive Ruben shared his knowledge of the history & culture always with a sense of humor. We enjoyed being part of his small group.

A Bit of Everything

Enjoyed the tour for the most part but some things could be improved. Reuben picked us up promptly at our hotel in a very clean, air conditioned van. He was a very friendly and informative guide. We only had four people on the tour so that was great. Really enjoyed the Aloe factory tour. The bead making tour was also enjoyable as the owner and her husband were very talented. At the cigar making the workers basically ignored us and were not informative at all. The glass blowing was also very good but we felt we stayed there too long. We were given lunch there but it was really too early to eat so we didn't feel it was necessary. Also we were not aware that a veggie wrap was available. The rum tasting was lots of fun but we were really rushed and not sure why that was. Drove by the rock formations but we have liked to have been able to get out and see them. We know the theme of the tour was Made in Aruba but would have liked a bit of site seeing as well.

Fun and Interesting

I booked this tour because I really wanted to get to the bead studio, Terrafuse, but really the whole tour was fun and interesting. Reuben our driver made sure we knew all about Aruba and life there. Everyone loved the rum stop. I even liked the stuff I got at the aloe factory - it worked! Would highly recommend.

And Terrafuse was great too!

Fun Tour

Reuben was our guide and we would highly recommend him. He is very knowledgeable and fun. They pick you up from your hotel promptly. Our group had a total of 11 people. We saw various sites including the Aloe factory, glass blowing, cigar making and rum tasting. Our highlights were the glass blowing which is fun to see them make something from scratch. We also enjoyed the rum tasting. Be prepared to enjoy 15+ samples of rum. Water and lunch is included. I had a chicken wrap and my wife had a veggie wrap. It’s a great way to see local artisans and to purchase items you won’t see at home.

A great way to see some of the local products.

This tour was so much fun. Rueben was a tour guide! My favorite stop was the Aloe Factory. The other stops were also interesting. Lunch was very good. Comfortable transportation. Highly recommend this tour.

Hidden Aruba

Our tour started off with a flat tire and went uphill from there. Rueben was our guide and such a wonderful font of knowledge. He answered all our questions and gave us so much information about Aruba. He anticipated all of our needs without us asking and took us to such wonderful family owned and operated businesses. We never would have seen any of these on our own Definitely we will be back in Aruba and will
Request Rueben to take us back to Marsha and her wonderful rums. The organic cigars and artists and glassblowing were amazing. I bought so much aloe from the factory but was amazed at how it tasted as well. This was a perfect taste of Aruba. Thank you so much

Highly recommend!

All was great! Highly recommend this tour. Reuben, our tour guide made the tour personable, educational, and we cannot wait to return to Aruba. It truly is One Happy Island.
