My husband and I booked this tour on our second visit to Dominica. We were on a cruise ship, and booked the morning tour. I reconfirmed about a week prior to our cruise. When we arrived in Dominica, we went to the meeting point. There was no one from our tour there. Another tour guide called the company, and I was told that I had booked the afternoon tour. I had the confirmation email from them for the morning tour in my hand. Then he told me that he was sorry, but there was only an afternoon tour. We took the afternoon tour, and it was fine. We enjoyed seeing Champagne Reef again with the easier access from a boat. The guide did a great job. We also snorkeled at a spot called the Pinnacles. The other tour guide snorkeled with us at that stop. She was not that good. She didn't pay attention to where we were (in reasonably rough water) nor did she actually point out any fish or other things in the water. After they obviously messed up with our reservation, I expected an apology, but did not receive any. If I had known it was an afternoon tour, I could have made arrangements to do other things in the morning. It was disappointing.

Wonderful snorkeling tour. We went to two sites and ended in the hot natural Bath. Great and friendly guides. I would highly recommend this.

Our favorite part was the Champagne Spa and Bar but we loved snorkeling and seeing the bubbles. The water was so warm and the rum punch was delicious. We would do it again!!!

The crew was very personable! Showed us different th”sea life during our snorkeling adventures. I would Recommend bringing aqua shoes for the Bubble Beach Spa and Bar as it was very rocky. Great time there! Thank you for the amazing adventure!!

We were driven in the country and dropped off at the top of a steep hill. There were cement blocks that we had to climb down the hill with no railing.
At the bottom were a few picnic tables. They passed out snorkel gear and told everyone the ocean was your bathroom. To get into the ocean you had to climb over big rocks which was really dangerous in your fins. Most of the people were elderly and many fell getting over the rocks.
Climbing back up the cement blocks was very hard for many of the people.
I could not believe that any cruise line would condone such a dangerous excursion. We had to argue with the shore excursion manager to try to get her to understand what a dangerous excursion it was! Do not do unless you are young and nimble.

According to the text of this review this activity is not provided by our company ph whale watch. This is not our excursion!!!! We snorkel by boat and not from land. So we never have to climb down from rocks to get into the water. And we also not bring you into a car. And our excursion starts by boat at the ferry terminal. Not by car!!!! So please remove this review and find out which company you was snorkeling with. And put this on the correct place.
And write this review on the correct company
As far as we could find out, you did a shore excursion at champagne beach and not by boat.
At champagne beach there are 2 different companies.
Reading the review its clear that this is not our company you went with.

Wonderful snorkelling afternoon tour to Champagne Beach and Scott’s Head on 11 March 2022 - I had the best time. The PH crew (Selwyn and Brittany) were amazing, really friendly and helpful and great guides. The snorkelling was superb, beautiful clear water, pretty reefs, plenty of fish and of course the incredible bubbles at Champagne Beach. I highly recommend.

Great experience, the bubbles are out of this world. The captain and the owner where great with me, they organise the tour even I was the only one. I 100% recommend this tour and this boat

Went with PH Whale Watch snorkeling at Champagne reef and Scotts Head. All well-organized. Friendly Staff and good equipment. Very private. We were with only 4 people and a lot of space on the boat. Captain Kevin gave us also a lot of information about the environment. We had a stop at the warm water of Bubble Beach. Safe to book with these guys!
