An amazing and educational trip. Matias and Giuseppe were great. The ride was long but well worth it. We had drinks and fruits once we got to Cayo Arena. Matias did a great job taking photos and videos of me and my partner. An unforgettable experience.

Snorkeling was better there than the scuba diving we did. The island .. hut.. photos... video... worth the price... city tour.. tobacco making.. lunch.. drinks.. was one of the best days there

We did not take the regular ferry, right in front of the Villa Rosa Hotel there are local coxains that will take you there before the ferry. We left at 0800 and had the island to ourselves for 90 mins before the big boats show up. It was less expensive 3500 pesos for two people and the baots provided snorkle gear.

Nous sommes arrivés les premiers sur l'île, a l'allée arrêt à la piscine naturelle et retour passage dans les mangroves, c'est un vrai labyrinthe tellement il y en a.

We enjoyed the tour. The weather was perfect, the crew were helpful and attentive. The boat was clean and the welcome punch was actually really good.
We ended up at the island longer than they said we would be.
The lunch was really good.
The drive was a bit long but overall, a good time but a pit pricey for what we got.

Depending on where you are staying at the drive can be quite long;however, mostly the experience of the island makes up for it.

The place is rammed with tourists from all over the place who have all paid to get there from different ferry companies..( were talking about 12-15 boats ) all there just waiting for the folks to take they’re time stay there for a couple of hours then leave ..don’t expect the idyllic photo that you see on google ..expect something more like the photo here ..over 130 people in such a very tiny island..just totally rubbish ..no toilet facilities..so people are pissing in the clean waters ...then you get the odd one with a drone taking photos without asking permission ..I could go on and on how bad this trip is but you get the idea ..oh and you also get the odd drunktard from the VIP ferry trip to get to the island who can hardly stand ..etc etc ,wouldn’t return

Thank you for posting a review and we are sorry you had a bad experience. If you would go in the summer / fall it is an completely different experience much less people and a lower tide so the island is bigger. At the moment it is high season and a lot of people going to the island.
We also offer a Private VIP tour to Paradise Island, we leave very early in the morning so we arrive to the island before all the organized tour boats are coming. So you have a few hours almost alone on the island.

Una excursion muy tranquila Una isla que llegas y parece un paraiso.con unos guias y el fotografo tan simpaticos .Buceamos y vimos los peces de colores con los corales .Todo un mundo debajo del agua ,En la isla te ofrecen fruta ,la piña buenisima ,tomamos el sol en esa especie de arena fina muy comodos y disfrutando de todo ,la compañia ,la gente ,la isla TODO PERFECTO

Ottimo servizio. appena prenotato ho ricevuto anche la conferma con Whatsapp. Li ho ricontattati per il cambio hotel e non ho avuto alcun problema è tutto andato benissimo e Cayo Arena è semplicemente un meraviglioso spettacolo della natura!!!
E' la prima volta che vedevo una barriera corallina e per me è stato veramente emozionante!!!
Lo rifarei sicuramente!!!!

Yes. In fact I think it was excessive in terms of time. It felt like a shopping tour more than anything else. We took 3 different tours and they all felt that way. I bet they just bring shoppers to connected businesses for cutbacks. If I did it again I would take a taxi for entire day and do it my way for the fraction of the price per tour I paid for the family!

Eine sehr interessante Insel einige Km. von Festland entfernt . Rund um die Insel kann man ca 50 Meter in Glasklaren Wasser die Fische beobachten , denn es ist nur ca 80 Centimeter tief

Hi There,
I want to know if this tour is just to Paradise Island or are there other stops along the way. Is there any tours that go straight to Paradise Island and then straight back to with out going on tours of the cigar factory and other stops.

This was just to the island and then another little island area for a delicious meal but the bus tour stopped at a little store that shows the cigar process but you can stay behind and stay on bus or walk around
Staying in Santiago the week of March 7-13 would like to go there that Monday the 11 where do I meet for departure

Usually the bus will pick people at hotel of where they are staying I would we stayed with our friends that live in Dominican but the bus that’s part of the tour picked us up at their home. If your staying at a hotel ask them about it when you arrive. Excellent value and worth every minute
