Our guide was the best. It was just me and my cousin. He showed all the places on the trip plus some. He was knowledgeable of the area and history. He was very polite, friendly, and professional. His van was very clean and in great condition.
He also took photos of my cousin and I at each stop. Because he wanted to make sure we loved his country as much as he did, he went above and beyond to give us great memories and pictures. I would highly recommend this tour.

Alfredo was amazing! He arrived on time at Amber Cove port. It was a private tour with my husband and I in the van. The van came with AC and he played local music. He took us to all the known spots and took amazing pictures! He is a secret photographer! He took us to the rum factory, chocolate factory, and cigar factory. He also took us to a local place he recommended to eat food. The food was to die for, it was so delicious and affordable. We recommend booking with Alfredo because he is so nice and he known all the hot local spots of DR. I will definitely book with him or his company again next time I am here.

Our guide Alfredo arrived on time at the port taxi area. We were all comfortable in a newer van. I believe he took us to all the stops listed except for Amber Museum, Gold Chocolate Factory and San Felipe Fort (only did a drive by).
Note that the rum and chocolate factory tours consisted mainly of watching videos on how they are made, sampling the products, then given a chance to purchase. At the cigar factory, you actually saw employees hand rolled the cigars; however, you are then subjected to timeshare style hard sell. The guys in our party did this while the ladies chose to be dropped off at a store. The umbrella and pink streets were near each other. We enjoyed taking photos at these 2 locations.
Alfredo was distracted multiple times with incoming calls. He told us he was the owner’s #1 right hand man so had to address issues on other tours. I would have liked a bit more narrative about the places we visited. Overall, we were happy with the experience.

This tour with Santos was excellent! He was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the city. He took us to many different sites and was helpful throughout the day! Truly enjoyed the day and exploring the city!

Our guide/driver was on time picking us up. He was friendly, pleasant and informative. Despite bad reviews from other tours, we did not feel rushed or uncomfortable at any time. Would recommend.

We received a professional tour of Puerto Plata, with built-in flexibility for our specific requests. Alfredo was on time and provided a beautiful air-conditioned van in which to see the city. He provided us with many photo opportunities that we will always cherish. He was knowledgeable, kind, and fun. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting a relaxed and unrushed city tour

Very pleasant way to spend a few hours in Puerto Plata. Asked for an English speaking guide so driver brought along a buddy to help out. Vehicle was also very nice.

Puerto Plata City Tour with Jose G was the best. He customized our tour, provided us with safe and reliable transportation, and made us comfortable, as first time visitors to the country. He was respectful and honest. I’d book with him every time I came out here.

Jose G. was an awesome tour guide. He was a safe driver and he customized the tour specifically for us. We didn’t want the cigar tour but he took us by the beach instead. He was patient, thoughtful and made us feel very comfortable. Highly recommend him.

Alfredo Sanchez was an amazing tour guide. He has his own private company and you can plan your own tour. He took us around the city. We toured a chocolate factory along with a rum factory. We also saw an old fort that was still standing. He can take you anywhere you would like to go at a much better price than the cruise ship.
