Can’t recommend this trip highly enough and the best boat trip we have ever been on. The staff are just amazing, make you feel welcome from being picked up to being dropped off. Transport exact times they said and the boat had less than 16 guests on which is what we booked. We booked in England before arriving and booking and payment was smooth. The drinks and music were flowing throughout the trip. Great snorkelling and knowledge from all the crew members. Had around 45 mins snorkelling then around an hour at the sand bar. Lots of fun on the slides and jumping off the boat too. All the guests joined in and made this trip so memorable. Can’t recommend the semi private option enough.

Nino, Alex and Michael made the trip a great one. They were entertaining, kind and funny! We had great drinks, delicious snacks and saw many fish while snorkelling with Nino’s guidance.

great excursion! wonderful captains and boat team- Alex, Michael and Nino. saw turtles, stingrays, lots of fish. great music, swimming, snacks. really delicious fresh fruit. very smooth pick up and drop off. highly recommend!

We were on happy fish IV. The crew was amazing. A lot of fun! Ship was clean and the crew was helpful. Snorkeling was good. One of the members of the crew would get in the water with you and chum the waters. The fish would be swarming. Great time!

We had an awesome time! Highly recommend, Al, Sosa and the third gentleman were so attentive! Kind, helpful, we saw loads of fish, sea turtles, the paddle baords were awesome as were the slide and the diving board! Hands down the best time! I would not recommend anyone else - Happy Fish Catamarans are the best!

The crew was wonderful! Saw many species of fish and even a sea turtle on the voyage. It's well worth the money. Don't let your resort scare you into thinking it's not worthwhile.

Pick up was seamless, unless like us you are staying in a hotel that arrogantly refuses pick up entry to trip providers they don’t make money from!
- The staff were all very friendly & entertaining.
- Catamaran was clean, and had plenty of space for the number of customers, with ample shade.
- the crew appeared to split the bookings, to put like aged groups together, which worked really well.
- music plays for the duration, which added to the fun as everyone sang along to numerous songs.
You stop twice, once to snorkel with lots of fish, and once in what can only be described as a ‘party beach’ with heaps of booze cruise boats and lots of loud music - the upside, it’s also where you get to have a lovely hour in the shallow sea, are served endless drinks (in the sea) & fresh fruit, and get to mess around on a paddle board.
The ‘eat a meal before you board’ - is more for those with bigger appetites, as you are served a big plate of guacamole, salsa and nachos.
We saw the ‘competitors’ more expensive boat trip, which was half full, and lacked the buzz ours afforded.
Well worth it!

Amazing boat trip at a good price, so worth paying for the smaller group size. The snorkelling was amazing with so many fishes, and the water flats was also good fun with the floating bar and paddle boards on a stunning background of Carribean coastline. Even stopped on the way back and saw some turtles and a sting ray! Can’t recommend this trip enough, transportation on time and no delays, well organised and great crew!

What a fantastic trip. We loved it so much we biked it again 2 days later. Great snorkeling with tons of fish. All different kinds. The gear was in great shape and clean. The boat was immaculate. Staff was outstanding. So fun. They made the trip extra fun. We were on a boat with David and Anna both times. Can’t wait to go back next year.

Let me preface this by saying I have been on a number of snorkeling tours in Punta Cana, and this was the best! The catamaran was limited to 16 tourists, but we had only 13 on our trip. The snorkeling was amazing!! We had a snorkeling guide to take us to the best areas to see fish. He fed the fish, which brought in even more. After a 45 minute snorkel, we returned to the boat. They provided us with chips, salsa, and fresh made guacamole. Then some crew and passengers enjoyed the water slide and dive platform. Next we went to a secluded beach to take family photos. While underway we saw 4 turtles, and the captain circled them so we could see them better and take pictures. Then we went to a shallow cove where we anchored and enjoyed paddle boarding and a floating bar. Then we headed home, while the music was turned up so we could dance. Overall, a fantastic experience for a reasonable price.

The water in Aruba is relatively calm. I am susceptible to sea-sickness but have never gotten sick on any Catamaran trips. Take a motion pill if you're concerned. Look at the sights not the boat moving through the water.

When I did this trip, we snorkeled in a coral reef out at sea and then went to a natural pool near the shore. There is a beach but you can only SUP to it (not swim due to sea urchins) and there is only one SUP.

Hi. Are there shade options on this excursion? Will be traveling with a family member who is sensitive to heat/sun & want to make sure there is shade available to him? Also, is it better to go in the morning or afternoon?

on the catamaran there are seats in the shade but obviously not while you are in the water. While in the water , I'd recommend long sleeve cotton t-shirt .
