Tripadvisor's mark-up is 50% and it really shows. This tour was not value for money. We generally try and avoid writing bad reviews but feel we have to share our experience on this tour as it was a disaster from start to finish. We went from one petrol station to the next to meet the group and waited for over an hour until clients started shouting: 'Let's go'. It was like musical chairs with people getting on and off the bus. One couple threatened with leaving the tour before it had begun due to the cramped conditions. We really wish we had at this point! Four adults were sat on the back seats and I was over the wheel so I had nowhere to put my feet. The journey was a few hours each way. The guide fell out with one of the clients enroute. He may have had his reasons, but he did not handle the situation very professionally - involving all clients and threatening to leave the tour. We thought it was a prank but alas no. When we eventually made it to Santo Domingo, which is a lovely city by the way, we learnt so little. The guide took us from one shop to the next. He was clearly on commission as he didn't hurry clients at all. They were taking so long in one shop that he sent the others in the group to the cathedral with one of the many police officers that he introduced us to. Turns out he hadn't paid and so we ended up waiting outside the cathedral for an age. We bailed and headed into the square for a much-needed break. After the visit, one client went AWOL and the guide made little effort to find her. He said she could make her own way back to Punta Cana - openly complaining about her in front of thr group. When we finally got back to the hotel, we were thoroughly disappointed and exhausted. This is a day of our holidays that we cannot get back. Save your time and money, and do not book this tour.

Muy mala organización, tuvimos que esperar mucho para poder iniciar, cambiamos de bus 3 veces.
Al regresar según el conductor íbamos muy tarde, así que manejó sobre los límites de velocidad, sin importar nuestra seguridad, de hecho evadió 3 semáforos en rojo.
El recorrido pudo ser mejor organizado para aprovechar el tiempo. Nuestro guía nos llevó a un lugar para hacer compras con los precios más altos de la zona. Se supone que un guía debe facilitar la experiencia.

Buenas tardes nosotros nos caracterisamos por darle el mejor servicios a los clientes que eligen nuestra empresa para sus aventura,que de hecho les agradecemos a ustedes,pero es una excursion compartido por lo tanto siempre hay un punto de encuentro para unir con los demas grupo,por otro lado las tienda no es ogligatorio comprar solo se usan para usar los banos

First...it's not an easy trip...but it is nice!Mr.Felix ,a simple and kind person,very nice and helpfull.Thank you very much for every information.
Marcial-the best driver from Dominican Republic.I see how the people drive..Thank you,Marcial,for driveing safe going and back ,you make us to fell very safe.
In the rest,one interesting trip.Different from what you cam see in Europe.I will recomand sure to go and see..but if you like 5 star ,take a private car,with your privat everything...

Poor organisation, we were picked up at 7:20 and did not arrive in Santo Domingo until half past 12. We were switched bus three times and stood in a car park for an hour. We booked this tour as it stated it was an English speaking tour. We were left on a bus with no one who spoke English, we had no idea where we were going or what we were doing. We were left feeling a little bit vulnerable and it sadly ruined our day. The tour itself is not lengthy you are shown to shops and places that they have connections with, you can not go round on your own or even explore a little bit from the party. The bus is a long bus journey which we were aware of but is not easy when the bus was so uncomfortable and hot.
Overall this was the worse day of our holiday. The only positive was lunch was quite pleasant.

Die Tour an sich war sehr interessant und auch gut gemacht. Man hat einen schönen Eindruck von Santo Domingo gewinnen können.
Der Tour Guide war sehr freundlich und hat in den verschiedenen Sprachen (Spanisch, Englisch und auch Deutsch) die verschiedenen Sehenswürdigkeiten erklärt und hat interessantes Hintergrundwissen vermittelt.
Das Essen war sehr lecker und auch qualitativ gut.
Das Einzige Manko war die leider schlechte Organisation der Abholung.
Wir mussten etwas über 60 Minuten auf den Bus warten und wurden erst nach Kontaktaufnahme des Veranstalters abgeholt.
Danach wurden wir nacheinander in zwei verschiedene Autos auf dem Highway umgesetzt, um am Ende den Kleinbus zu erreichen, mit dem wir unsere tatsächliche Tour durchgeführt haben.
Die Fahrer waren allesamt sehr nett und die Reisegruppe mit ca 10 Personen auch sehr schön übersichtlich.
Insgesamt eine gute Tour mit einigen Makeln in der Organisation.
Die Tour kann man auf jeden Fall buchen, wenn man eine günstige und gute Tour nach Santo Domingo haben möchte.

Hoy fuimos al tour a Santo Domingo y tuvimos una muy buena experiencia, el señor Maximo fue muy atento y gentil con todos las personas del tour y nos brindó mucha información sobre su pais durante el camino, al llegar a Santo Domingo conocimos a otro guía llamado Ozuna quien también fue un excelente guía, muy noble y divertido! Recomendados!

Our tour Javier was great. The tour itself was a little rushed since it was Labor Day and several of the spots were closed. We also had to wait another an hour before getting picked to go to backed tot he resort because the driver got lost because of all the road closures for the holiday.
Also make sure you wear comfortable shoes/sandals made for walking
