Jose from friendly host pulled together an amazing excursion in very short time. Jose made this an amazing experience!
The Polaris buggies were great. Our first buggy had an issue, as will happen with mechanical vehicles from time to time, but they quickly had us in another bigger better badder buggy! We had omega as our guide and he made it a blast!
It had been dry recently so not a lot of big puddles to get muddy, but there was plenty of jungle driving fun out to the beach and the cave.
Would do this again!

This is a third party booking company it does not represent the buggy companies. Depending on your luck you may get assigned a good tour or you can get assigned to a crappy tour. We got assigned to Macao buggy tour. Don’t waste your time and money here. Highly unorganized and most of the time your just sitting around doing nothing. The tour spent most of the time trying to sell you stuff. The buggy tour group was massive at least 20-30 vehicles. Most of the time you going around 5 miles an hour and stopping a lot. The vehicles are run down and in terrible condition. Literally parts and panels of the buggy were held together with ropes. I have been on many tours in the DR and this was the first I want to end the tour early if it were possible. At the 3 locations we stopped to visit we were there barley 10 mins. Macao beach was the last part of the tour and was there literally 10 minutes. Just ordered drink from the bar and it was time to leave again. Waste of money and time.

Did the buggy tour, worst experience ever. This must be a third party vendor because we were given the tour through family buggy. If you are getting picked up from majestic hotels you’ll need to get picked up outside the front gate. So we needed to walk 7 minutes to the gate. Was told tours would be around 5-10 buggy’s per tour and ended up with 30+ buggy’s. So extremely slow tour. Another buggy driver from the tour in front of us was drinking and driving and no one stopped them. Too short time at the beach and way too long and unorganized in other places. No direction given it’s a free for all. Over half the 30+ buggy’s had mechanical issues along the way. We had to change three buggy’s during the tour as they all broke down. Choose the 10 am time slot, majestic pick up was at 11:15am Didn’t get dropped back off till 5:28pm. No food no water. Terrible never again.

The polaris was great although it's kind of slow in a group..the cave swim was exhilarating and Pepe was a great guide. I wouldn't buy anything in the boogies store it's cheaper on the excursion. Oh and Macao beach was gorgeous..

El viaje en buggies a la playa MACAO genial luego la visita para mirar como realizan el tabaco es muy buena y para terminar en el lindo cenote azul. Genial la distribución de los tiempos y la vista. La atención de vacation on RD y kyle excelente

We took the buggy trip with our 2 kids of 8 and 5 and everybody had a great time! We took the time to look for that kind of trip outside of a tour operator and definitely did not regret it. The service was great, we were only 2 buggies that day and crossed huge groups of up to 25 buggies, a photograph was following us and took great family pictures. And last but not least, it is way less expensive than what tour operators offer. Only small downside: we did not stay very long on Macao beach.

We recently booked with this company and couldn’t be happier with the service we received. They picked us up on time from our hotel, gave us a buggy that was in good condition for our family of four. Macao beach was amazing! And the cave was such a fun experience! I love the fact that we were never rushed by our tour guides and were able to enjoy every stop. Thank you to the “paparazzi” (tour guides) for all the wonderful pictures you took of my family and I. Memories that will last a lifetime! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would recommend them to anyone traveling to punta Cana and wanting to do an excursion outside of their hotel!
