Interesting experience

Fantastic trip. Amazed how the water glows when touched. Very interesting. Take water shoes though because it's not deep and the bottom is mud. Horrible feeling. Well worth the money

Try if nearby...

I believe there are only a few night tours near MoBoy so this is something different to try. The water was cool and felt 'spongy' in the shallow areas. I had on my vibrams so I was all good. The guys on the boat said that summer was the best time to visit the lagoon, but with some vigorous motion in the water I was able to activate the organisms. Some folks stayed on the boat because they were scared about hopping in the dark water at night, but they said that they could really see the blue luminosity when I was in the water. I enjoyed this activity and I would definitely do it again.

One to do but wouldn't recommend going way out of your way to do this.

We travelled about 30 mins each way which was fine - got about 15 mins actually in the lagoon which was cool but would have been disappointed if we were in the group that had travelled nearly 2h each way on the same coach as us.

If you're nearby then give it a go - if it's a bit of a trek you won't have missed out too much if you don't bother.

Sorry you did not enjoy this tour. You could have also swim if you wanted to, which might have added more fun.

Desde Lucea a la Laguna Luminosa

Recomendable, el buen ambiente que genera la tripulación es simpático, al principio no se aprecia mucha luminosidad hasta que te metes al agua, la agitas y ves tu piel con puntos color azul (fosfato), muy divertido. No adjunto fotos porque estaba mojado y el móvil sin protector ...

Once in a luifetime experience

Was a great experience. Only 4 places in the world like this. The water glows with any movement. Got to swim at night and watch the glow. I really enjoyed watching the fish glow as they swam.

Si volviese, no regresaria.
Esta claro que ir a Jamaica y no salir del Hotel, es como no habr ido a Jamaica.
Tambien es cierto que segun donde te alojes, las distancias no son ninguna tonteria, pero no es excusa.
Estubimos en las cascadas de Ocho Rios (Increible y recomendable 100%), despues visitamos la casa dond nacio y descansa Bob Marley (100% RECOMENDABLE😍😍) y por ultimo fuimos a la Laguna. De la excursion lo peor fue la Laguna.
Hay q esperar a que sea de noche ciego para poder apreciar bien el brillo del agua. Ade+ no me parecio a mi q brillaba tanto como en las fotos...

Hi When converted to english. The views expressed about the luminous lagoon are not as a result any act or deficiency on the part of Thelga's Tours. The Luminous Lagoon is not run by us and is merely a site that is chosen without any responsibility of what their tour entails. Luminous lagoon has a site where reviews can be left about their services. We however regret that these customers did not find this activity as anticipated.

Pas brillant comme excursion

Nous sommes allés le mardi soir. Nous avons pu voir l’effet lumineux dont on parle, mais c’est beaucoup moins impressionnant que sur les images. Allez-y lorsqu’il pleut. C’est le conseil du guide de l’excursion.
