The company didn’t honor our ticket so we paid and didn’t get to go and I’m still waiting to hear back for a refund. The company allowed us to book and then sent an email an hour before pick up stating that the reservation would not be honored. The numbers listed for the refund would not answer and no one has responded to my refund request.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service provided by Island Routes during a recent tour booking. I booked a combo tour for a catamaran cruise and an ATV tour. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory due to a series of service failures.
Initially, our driver took us to the wrong Sandals resort. I contacted your representative, Veleta, 10 minutes before the tour was set to begin, explaining the situation and informing her that we would be heading to the correct resort. I asked her to contact the captain and advise that we would be five minutes late. Despite arriving at Sandals Montego Bay at 10:06am, we were told that the cruise had already departed due to our being five minutes late.
At the front desk, I spoke with Kay, who displayed little empathy or understanding and quickly pushed us aside. She called a security supervisor, making it seem as though we were trespassing or committing an offense. The security supervisor, in contrast, was very professional and provided excellent customer service. However, I overheard Kay arguing that the security guard should not have allowed us on the property, saying, "Wah him let dem in yah pah wi fah."
I eventually spoke with Keslyan from the Island Routes office, who apologized for the poor service we had received from Kay. She initially offered a refund for the catamaran cruise, but I informed her that the security supervisor had contacted the boat captain, who advised that we could meet the boat at Doctors Cave. Upon our arrival at Doctors Cave, we waited for 30 minutes, watching the boat’s snorkelers without any assistance in getting on board.
I called Keslyan again, but this time, her response was rushed, and she offered a refund once more, even though we made it clear that we wanted to join the tour rather than receive a refund. Given Island Routes’ connection with Sandals Resort, we expected top-tier service, yet this experience proved to be quite the opposite. Now, we have ten customers with a negative impression of both Sandals and Island Routes.
I hope that you will take this complaint seriously and address these service issues to prevent similar experiences for other customers.

Thank you for choosing Island Routes! We're sorry you weren’t able to join our Reggae Catamaran Cruise due to the delayed arrival of your driver.
Please know that the safety and enjoyment of our guests are always our top priorities. While we did our best to get you to the party, the timing would not have allowed for a full experience for you and your group. Although we wished to reschedule, as mentioned to Kesley-Ann, this was not possible during your current vacation.
We hope to have another opportunity to welcome you aboard our world-famous Red Locks catamaran on your next visit to Jamaica.

Le-Jay set us up for an amazing time! The cruise was amazing! Views were unbelievable and the crew was a lot of fun! I’d recommend sitting down and talking to Le-Jay for all your excursion needs. Just an all around helpful and kind person!

We had an amazing time! The crew made sure we had everything we needed. The snorkeling guards also were great reef guides!! Absolutely recommend!!! It was the perfect end to a week of work on the island!!

Overbooked and the driver was late and RUDE. Not enough seats in the shuttle to the boat or the boat. Alcohol advertised but not available until after others did water activities. Never again. The crew seemed hospitable but overall my experience was horrible.

Went on this Catamaran Cruise with my family. We all had a good time. The drive to the cruise was not on time (20-30 minutes late) but the cruise itself was nice. The kids loved the snorkeling. Got to see a starfish, a sting rays, an eagle ray, a baby lobster and tons of fish. Lunch was decent. The sail back was fun, the cruise stopped by dolphins cove so the kids got to see the dolphins swimming too. Overall it was a fun time for everyone.

Are you still doing tours on Tuesday? We were able to do another tour today because they said the tourists were not affected by the lockdown and curfew. If this is true we would like to go on your tour on Tuesday!
