We loved the personal attention of being just our group of 4 on the tour. Joelle, our driver/guide, was fantastic! Well worth the money — NOT TO BE MISSED!

Setup the food tour with Marvyn and his wife Sana; she is the best. Every email I wrote, Sana responded quickly and never left me hanging. Payment was quick and easy and the tour was setup without issue. Our driver Sean took us on the tour and he was such a gentleman. He took us through the different towns, did some shopping, met the locals, tried various fruits, and even took us to KFC! KFC in Jamaica is truly better than the US. At one of the stops, we stopped by a lookout that had an amazing view of the sea. We purchased beer and patties, which were quite delicious. At the end, we had lunch and got to taste authentic Jerk Chicken. Overall, it was a great day. We had such a good time, I ended up booking a private tour for Dunn's River and the Blue Hole and requested Sean be our driver once again!

We loved the explanation of the medicinal properties of the various herbs and being able to safely taste the various herbs. Lascells was a wonderful guide with both his explanations and sense of humor. The authentic Jamaican lunch was amazing. We are grateful to Elizabeth for working with us to get transportation from our port in Falmouth to the farm. The teas I purchased have incredible flavor and aroma. They put store purchased teas to shame.

Our private, Taste of Jamaica tour was amazing! Kenneth, our guide was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating! We were picked up right on time in a very nice, air-conditioned Van. Kenneth really tailored the tour to the things we were most interested in seeing or doing! We had fresh fruit, Blue Mountain coffee, and of course jerk chicken! We really got a feel for the city and it’s beautiful people! The view from the overlook above Ocho Rios was absolutely stunning! Highly highly recommend this tour as well as Marvin’s Paradise Tours!!!

Dalton did a great job showing us all about the culture and lives of the community. He knew exactly which roadside vendors to stop at so we wouldn’t feel pressured to buy. We learned a lot and saw a lot. Oh and had jerked chicken!

Marvin's paradise tour highly recommend. Great experience Day touring Ocho Rios with Marvin very knowledgeable of country sightseeing through mountains visited how locals live. Visited irie blue hole and secret falls was paradise. Bamboo Beach.River Rafting. Will definately use Marvin next year when we visit Ocho Rios in December 2020

We loved spending the day touring Ocho Rios with Gregory. It was a very informative and fulfilling tour. The food, the fruit, the spices, the people, the culture, the hospitality...you get it all on this tour without any "hustle and bustle." Do yourself a favor and book with Dr. Fun!

Come hungry! I wish I hadn't eaten breakfast prior to the tour because I couldn't eat everything offered along the way. Lunch was delicious. Our driver was very courteous, drove slowly over some bumpy terrain and made us feel safe throughout the tour. Bring some cash for small purchases (such as homemade spices) along the way. We found it very interesting to learn about local things grown in Jamaica.

I booked the food tour for 4. Our guide picked us up directly from our hotel in a private van. He was the most informative and pleasurable host. Our first stop was to pick up a hot and crust beef patty. I can't tell you how long I had been waiting for a decent beef patty and this one hit the spot. Our tour took us through the most scenic parts of Ocho Rios (Fern Gully, etc.) with plenty of wonderful and delicious stops along the way. It all culminated with a stop for lunch at the Ocho Rios Jerk Centre. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We have two children, one will be 14 and the other 11 when we cruise in March. I noticed the tickets said for ages 13-99 and there were no child tickets listed. Should I buy an adult ticket for my 11 year old as well?

Yes, you may have to purchase an adult ticket for your younger child.
