Fantastic trip, we managed to see Dolphins and Humpback whales which was amazing. The crew were excellent, really entertaining, really knowledgeable and made sure we were all look after. It is an early start and is about 3 hours in total, but we got probably 30-45 minutes watching the dolphins, the crew spotted the Humpbacks on the way back which they were super excited about.
There was plenty of space to move around on the boat, drinks were provided and were really needed, standing on the bow watching the dolphins race in front was special.
I would recommend this to anyone, go you won't regret it. You also get an amazing view of the Pitons from the sea.

We appreciated that we may not see dolphins or whales on the trip however, our clever crew with Captain Derek at the helm found a large school of 2 species of dolphin and amazingly 2 humpback whales on the way back. Absolutely amazing trip, friendly helpful staff, copious drinks to stay hydrated, great boat for viewing the dolphins & whales. Definitely recommend Captain Mike's of St Lucia

We joined a whale watching trip, it was a fantastic experience. The staff were super friendly, checking on us regularly and providing drinks (lovely selection of soft drinks, beer and rum punch). We saw absolutely tons of dolphins - three different species, with lots of common dolphins diving in the swell of the boat. I can't recommend this trip enough - go for it!

We had an incredible time and were lucky enough to see 5 different species of whales and dolphins. We even saw a humpback whale breach and do a flip! We're ruined for other whale-watching cruises :)

Incredible experience!!
Went with my gf and a there were few other couples and had a great time.
About 15ppl in total not including staff.
Van - Joseph - Capt Dave we’re great!
Saw a pile of dolphins and whales. 5 different species, the staff were going wild this was such a special time. Whales breaching and tail slapping, dolphins swimming 10-15ft from the boat. Incredible!!

Crew and staff were great. The boat is a charming 60". We didn't get to see any dolphins or whales, but that's outside anybody's control. We enjoyed spending time at the bow, so wished the sound system had speakers at the bow so we could hear announcements. Crew came around the whole time offering drinks, and was very cordial.

Last year I left a review "best trip yet"
This year we did the trip again but were thinking we had had our share of luck.
The weather was lovely and we started out going out to sea.
Nothing happened for a while but then we were told they had seen something which would come on the port side.
The staff were excited and I was amazed when I saw what I thought were killer whales. The most I saw surface at any one time was 3 but there were more.
We managed to stay with them for about 15 mins I guess and it was only afterwards when I spoke to the crew we realised how lucky we were.
It was the first time they had seen Killers too!!
My 86 year old Mum has always wanted to see them so that's something off her bucket list.
Then on the way back we also saw a pod of pilot whales.
Altogether amazing!!

We had a great trip with Cap'n Mike. We didn't see any whales, but we saw 4 different species of dolphins, including spinners' the one's that leap out of the water and spin around. Often they were following the boat. We saw a lot of flying fish too. The trip lasted 3.5 hours so you get a good long time, and if you're nervous the liberal quantities of rum punch help no end. Snacks in the form of a banana and some pringles were kind of weird but what the hell. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the loud music playing on the radio. Maybe it attracted the dolphins, who knows, but all in all a great trip.

I honestly think this experience is great value for money, for fifty quid you get a 3.5 hour boat trip, drinks and refreshments, and you get a great view/tour of the south west coast including the pitons. Sadly we didn't see any dolphins or whales but I still enjoyed being on the water.

A great trip, which took us from Castries down the west coast of St.Lucia to the waters off of the Pitons and back again.
The wildlife was a little slow to oblige, but our patience was rewarded when we were treated to a display from a large pod of short and long beaked common dolphins. Several plumes of spray from the blow hole of a sperm whale were spotted in the distance, as was the whale’s tail, before it plunged to the depths never to be seen again.
We saw Captain Mike at the start of the day but he didn’t join us for the passage. No matter, we were left in the very capable hands of his skipper and crew. The 1st mate/fish spotter had the eyes of an eagle and the balance of a gymnast; how he never fell over without holding onto the boat all morning I struggle to comprehend. There was a healthy supply of beverages, including the obligatory rum punch, as well as the provision of bananas and crisps.
With mammals spotted and the alcohol starting to take effect, the return journey was more relaxed. After a subtle increase in the volume of the onboard music we were treated to some highly accomplished dancing from one of the onboard hostesses, with some of the less inhibited punters unable to stop themselves from joining in.
All in all, a great morning afloat.
