Great tour for lower activity level people

Raphael was our driver. Only 4 people on our tour. Was excellent. Beautiful scenery. Not rushed. Easy to understand and answered our questions. Recommended for those not looking for “thrills”.

Boat tour
I would book this on the beach for a smaller group and better time. Booked through my hotel and went on Saturday and there were probably 100 people on my boat. You get to see a bit of the island, food is average and mud bath was rushed. Waterfall was very small and not much to see. It was just average for me honestly, but guides were nice and service was great.

sights in a half day

A cruise ship stops for one day and if you are not a shopper or a swimmer then this is the tour for you. seeing the sights of the Island and learning some history is a good way to spend your time on the island

Thanks for submitting your feedback. We usually stop several places along the way for pictures. If your pickup was in the afternoon your guide would need to get to the sites before they close hence stops along the way would be limited. We will communicate this better for travelers booking for an afternoon pickup. Thanks again for your time.

Alternate Cruise Port Pinon Tour

It is nice to have the assurance of a cruise provided tour, but it is hard to pay the prices cruise ships charge for their large group tours. Since we had plenty of time in St Lucia, myself and my wife and another couple decided to try booking a tour through trip advisor. What a great experience and value. Our tour guide Richard just made the difference. He had a nice van that had 3 couples booked for the tour. Richard tailored our tour to our group and we got to see St Lucia in a wonderful full day experince. Was back to the ship in plenty of time for happy hour.

St. Lucia experience - one of our most memorable

Rohan, a college educated native, picked us up at the Norwegian epic dock. After beverages, our 3 couples traveled most of the island learning from Rohan and stopping for photo shoots along the way. We had many questions which he answered. At the stops to photograph the pitons, etc he would would take our pictures and guard our valuables. The highlight was the stop at the 95 degree sulfur springs mud bath followed by a short ride to a waterfall to wash the mud off.
We needed a great excursion after a poor cruising experience on the NCL epic and Rohan provided it.

Fun and Flexible

We enjoyed our tour with Richard. He really knows his local flora. As this is one of our interests, along with St. Lucia's amazing scener, we rate him very highly. We are pleased to recommend Richard. He's the man!

Fantastic Tour

The best part was my touring this beautiful island in a private tour, with Tropic Ventures with the very professional, knowledgeable and personable driver, named Richard. Sadly I didn't ask for his family name.

It was the perfect get-away from the great crowds from Norwegian Cruise Line- Epic, as well as the crowds of NCL group tours.

Richard made me discover and experience his wonderful island through his eyes, his personal experience of the island's culture, cuisine, including some rum sampling.

Further, as St-Lucia is very mountainous, with narrow winding roads, Richard was a very conscientious driver and I felt very safe in his vehicle.

I highly recommend Tropic Ventures tours, whether as a solo traveller or a smaller group of 4 - 6 people! By doing so, you provide the local economy some $$$ and gain from the experience a local driver/guide.

Many thanks to Tropic Ventures and to Richard, as YOU are the man!

Good Coverage in the Time

We had driver Richard and the minivan to ourselves.
He made suggestions but allowed us to set our own agenda so we visited the Sulphur Springs, drive-in volcano and Botanical Gardens via Souffries and got great views of the Pitons.
Be aware all of the viewpoints are saturated with locals trying to sell you anything and everything. It got a bit tiresome every time you set foot outside the van but the stop-off for Casava bread was worthwhile - not sure about Richard's attempt at an English accent!

Thanks for your feedback. Our agenda is set to visit the key sites in Soufriere. We like to make it flexible since our groups are small. The vendors are quite friendly and a simple “no thank you” keeps them away. Thanks for choosing Tropics Ventures and we hope to welcome you again.
