We are PADI certified but needed a tune up after a long absence. Our instructor Audrey was fantastic taking great care to pay attention t every detail of diving and particularly issues we had experienced in the past like mask sealing and weight optimization. The dive location was excellent and we had the freedom to move around the underwater objects. Audrey not only refreshed our training but significantly improved our skills.

This was an excellent afternoon's adventure for me and my 16 year old son. Audrey and Steve were great hosts, the scuba site was interesting and not too far away, they were professional, but not labored in getting us equipped and under the water and best of all, it was great value. Highly recommend.

My wife has loved to snorkel and swim in the ocean for all her life, even though she grew up in Kansas. We would make trips every year to both the east and west coasts of the USA. We've snorkeled off the coast of Italy and southern France. And even off the coast of China.
But I could never get her to try scuba with me, even though I had first certified years before. I finally convinced her to try the "Discover Scuba" course with me in Sint Maarten with Aqua Mania. She was immediately hooked, like i knew she would be.
Jen and Ryan were awesome during the training. Very patient and helpful answering all our questions. I did the "Discovery dive" with my wife since it had been a few years since I last dove.
Now my wife is hooked, or should I say addicted?!?! She has already purchased her own gear, BCD, Fins, Regulator and a $1000 Garmin dive computer. I think the two of us will be diving together for may years to come.
(Now I just need to decide what gear I want...)

Chase and Captain Roy were fantastic on our refresher dive. They brought us out to a nice dive spot and Chase guided us around a ship wreck and sunken bridge. Really fantastic crew. Only wish I had brought cash to tip them. Would recommend 100%. I’m gunna book another dive!

Our family of 4(2 teenagers) went out today with Brett, Nathan and captain Swamee today from the Divi little resort. Brett was a fabulous guide! He was patient and encouraging. I highly recommend these guys for a great diving experience.

If you always wanted to try scuba but hesitated... start here!!! jen our instructor was amazing she clearly laid out the objectives of the experience, she was very kind and encouraging if you messed something up. She was excellent at keeping track of everyone, and was very encouraging. The Captain of the boat was very nice and knowledgable and encouraging as well. We had always wanted to try this, and the conditions were great and the fish were beatiful, the dive training site had alot to see, we even saw a turtle while waiting for our one on one session with Jen for the key safety objectives. This experience was amazing and we are now ready to sign up for opened water diving Tips: be well rested, PAY attenteion to the video at the begginning it will make the experience safe and fun, trust your instructor ... diving in the warm waters of Sint marteen make this so much fun

I do not recommend this place for Discover Scuba! I booked my excursion and even though my ticket had the time printed on it, they told me it was wrong & made me wait an hour. After telling them I was afraid of missing my cruise ship, they said they’d make sure I was taken right to the dock when we were done. Then the instructor said he couldn’t do that, & he had been waiting on me for an hour. The communication amongst the staff was TERRIBLE, & I kept getting different answers. We watched what I found out later was a VERY outdated/ not recommend scuba video, & then we were put into the water. I had my 14 & 17 year old children with me. Nathan was young & a horrible teacher. He became visibly irritated with both of my children & sent them back to the boat after working with them only a short time period. My kids were in tears when we left! The experience was also an hour shorter than what I was charged for, and I still had plenty of time to waste in the city before returning to my cruise ship. I found out after having a great experience the VERY NEXT DAY with another company that Aqua Mania had many violations in how that “taught” us.

One thing I can reassure you of is that we have no violations in the way we teach according to PADI standards. We have been a PADI Dive Shop since 1989 and take pride in our safety standards and record, and our friendly instructors which reflects in our many positive reviews.

Outstanding diving experience in Divi Bay. Nathan was outstanding instructor for the first-timers and the underwater scenary in the Divi Bay was truly interesting with all the submarines, helicopters and cannons. Can recommend this experience to any person who wishes to try out scuba-diving.

What a excellent introduction to SCUBA in a beautiful setting! My friend and I are both certified but out-of-date, but it was the first time for our kids. Dive Instructor Brett and captain Joseph took outstanding care of us from start to finish. They are both exceptionally safety-oriented but not overbearing. The dive itself was at a SCUBA part of sorts a short boat ride away, with plenty of submerged stuff to look at in a relatively concentrated area. The ride to and from were almost as fun thanks to the great conversation with Brett and Joseph. I would definitely use this dive service and crew again and recommend you do too, and ask for these guys.

Had a really great experience with the St Maarten Discover Scuba. Instruction was fantastic and very hands on. The water drills were very thorough and made me feel comfortable diving after such a long break. I enjoyed the dive on a sunken helicopter and other equipment. Neptune or Poseidon scared the beegeesus out of me because he appeared to be moving. I thought this would be my last dive but I have a renewed interest in the sport because of the professionalism of this great group of people. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

It departs from the Simpson Bay Resort next to the sports bar they take you out to one of their dive spots which in may case was perfect because I had never when scuba diving before. It was a great spot and even though the viability wasn’t that great it was still amazing.
I see where it says that we need medical forms filled out prior to going scuba diving.
We are scheduled to go this afternoon at 1pm, however; we have not received the necessary paper work. Do we fill the paperwork out there before the dive?

Yes I did unless you have medical issues your fine but you can also get the forms online prior. There is a website where you can find them.
