I went on a scenic Hike with Alex today and had a blast. Its a hike along the coast, 1h one way , 1hr back the same way. Beautiful views over the ocean and great explanations from Alex.

I learned a lot about the island. The path itself is not too exhausting, long stretches of walking straight ahead, a little up and a little down.

The hiking itself wasnt too strenuous - however, the heat was. There is no shaded area anywhere. Bring enough water, a hat and sunscreen. The heat was craaaaazy. Good thing was, we went out early in the morning and returned before the midday hear.

This coastal walk is great, beautiful scenery , identifying the islands off the coast etc. I would not class this as easy but it is also not difficult. The stones underfoot might make it a little uneven in parts, but if you take your time most walkers will be able to do this. Jenel - our guide - and Alexandra (co-guide) were great. Very informative, very attentive, great reps for the company and the island. If you want to get away from major tourists areas then definitely consider this walk.

This scenic hike along the coast, facing the Atlantic, was a little more taxing than what we thought it would be. It IS a two and a half mile round trip on a very narrow path with loose sand, rocks, and pebbles with NO handrails and the only thing to possibly grab hold of was maybe a random tree branch or a tall cactus branch. Ouch! In some places, if you were to lose your balance where you could possibly fall, then your choices would have been hopefully the grassy area or a cactus patch or the alternative choice which would be down a rocky slope, over the cliff, and into the rocks below. Luckily I had a guide, at the end of the trail named Lex, who caught me one time when I stumbled and other times would walk between me and the cliffs. Brave man! You do get to make stops along the way so that you can get some photo opts. You can NOT walk the trail and see the views along the way. You do so, and you will definitely fall. All in all, the tour was well worth the price. My wife is in her late 60’s and I am 70. We are both in rather good shape and workout quite a bit but we were not really up to such an exhausting hike. We were glad that we went and even joked with the younger people in the group that we would have finished at the front of the hike instead of at the rear, had there been passing lanes.😉😜 The lead trail guide was name Janelle.(not certain on the spelling)

Had a great mornings walk along the coast with Jamille and Marcia. Really informative and fun (for a hike) drinks provided and we were able to go at our own pace. Would definitely recommend.

Marcia and Mateo led a wonderful coastal hiking tour. They were very personable and attentive to the guest's needs. Their knowledge of the local area and history was deep and added greatly to our experience. The cold refreshments at the end were a welcome treat. Highly recommend this excursion!

Marcia and Mateo are excellent guides with great knowledge of the history. Marcia saw us after the tour ended and said hi to us. She was super friendly. The hike is a bit physically demanding with rough terrain, but well worth the views that we saw of the ocean and hills. Marcia and Mateo had bottles of water for the group, but I’d recommend bringing a couple extra bottles of water. They also had hip bags for everyone to carry items and bottles in.

I’ve been wanting to go on this hike for quite some time and it happened. Thank you to the guide (Juan Pablo) for a great experience. His knowledge (negative ions and the beach/waterfalls), stories about the area were very interesting. He gave us some hiking tips too. His easy going friendly manner made me forget that he was a guiding us instead of us being a group of friends hiking. A few highlights- the goats and the tiny natural bridge that survived Irma and the seagrapes which are edible when ripe.

Booked this through P&O. 5km along a rocky path where proper walking shoes were worthwhile using. A couple of strenuous climbs but nothing beyond a healthy person. Guides were caring, loads of knowledge which made it interesting. Given bottled water and a biscuit snack and a pouch belt to carry them. Just a small group and some goats. Otherwise deserted. Beer or soft drink when we returned to the start. Then more beer and biscuits because the coach was late. All round, extremely enjoyable
