Yves was my guide on two tours on Grand Cayman Island. He's the most knowledgeable, entertaining, and efficient guide I had on the island without having hardly any competition. His mannerisms speak very high for him. Much "credit" does he deserve!

We had a wonderful excursion with Yves guiding us through the history and stories of Cayman. He was very knowledgable and funny! We will definately do this again.

We booked a small group cave tour with Yves as our guide. He was awesome! He was knowledgeable, funny, and charismatic about the trip and things in relation to the island. The caves were super neat and were well preserved. Our group was small which was perfect, and had that personal service we enjoyed. We also stopped along the way to see the blowholes on the southern portion of the island.

Embora seja um passeio que poderíamos fazer alugando um carro, nada tira o conhecimento do nosso guia Yves que, ao longo de 3 horas de passeio, foi nos ilustrando com dados da cultura local e historia de Ilhas Cayman. Conhecemos as Crystal caves, deslumbrantes! E ele deu a volta pela costa mostrando todos os atrativos.

Had a great time with our tour guide Yves. Pronounced (Eve). He was very witty, knew so much history on the island and gave the tour a big touch of humor. Glad we went first thing in the morning. You don’t need sneakers for the tour, just shoes or sandals for walking on stony paths for a bit.
The caverns were great. It was interesting learning about the formations. Worth seeing for sure.

We visited the Crystal Caves and the Blow Hole. The caves were beautiful and our tour guide (Yves) was very informative. It was a wonderful tour and would highly recommend for everyone.

Super easy to book online. Yves picked us up at The Westin to start our day. He was a great tour guide. Funny and knowledgeable about the island and the caves. Fun experience in the open air Land Rover. The caves were definitely worth the visit. And the small group size was perfect. Thanks Yves for a great day!!

We had been to Grand Cayman several times before but this time we wanted to do something different so we made arrangements with Cayman Safari Adventures in advance to tour the East End and Crystal Caves. They only book tours with a minimum of four people but made room for the two of us. We had given them our Mastercard information ahead of time and was told we could pay for the trip with it upon completion of the tour. Silly me, I didn't call Mastercard to let them know we were travelling so when payment was due, my card declined. They don't take American Express. In a panic, I ran to an ATM at the adjacent liquor store and withdrew the funds with my debit card. Fortunately I had notified my bank of the trip. So, all ended well enough. But travelers, don't be caught off guard like me. That one was on me not Cayman Safari Adventures.
Conroy, our tour guide, arrived at the cruise terminal on time. We had seven tourists onboard with Conroy driving. The drive was 22 miles one way mostly on smooth asphalt highway . We stopped at the Shoe Tree and later at the blow holes before reaching the dirt road entrance to the Crystal Caves. Conroy lead us to the visitors center. It has a gift shop, restrooms and snack bar. What impressed me was that they offer free of charge bug spray and umbrellas for use. Conroy says there are many caves and we woud see three of them: the Beginners, the Roots and the Lake caves.This is not a tour for anyone with ambulation difficulties.
Down a spiral staircase, we entered the Beginners. Next, the Roots where tree roots penetrate the interior of the cave and finally the Lake. One tourist complained of mosquitos. I'm not sure if they took advantage of the bug spray as we did. Another was freaked out by the fruit bats clinging to the cieling and some flying around. Dracula I guess. Anyway, it was all very impressive. Conroy said these caves are unique because they are so close to the surface and are very active, meaning water with its minerals is dripping from the ceiling creating more stalactites and mites daily.
We then ascended back to the visitor center and eventually piled back into the safari truck and made our way back to the port where I encountered my financial malfunction. It was a rewarding experience and I highly recoommend taking this tour.
One further tip to travelers: Try to sit close to the driver, either in the passenger seat or immediately behind him so you can hear what the driver is saying on the road. Those in the back like me couldn't hear anything because they have no PA system onboard. That's why I rated this a four star rather than five.

My family and I did the Crystal Cave tour with a stop at the blow hole. The guide was knowledge and funny. The jeep was comfortable. The caves were amazing to see and glad we went. I recommend this tour over renting a taxi or car and driving yourselves.
