We had a wonderful time with our tour guide, Mikey. He was fun, educational, and laid back. We found a baby lemon shark in the mangroves, along with lots of turtles. Mikey made sure we all saw some fun wildlife, and even let us hold a giant Queen Conch.

Was a fun morning on the water! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the waters and sea creatures. Although, he was hard to understand. We quite a few sea turtles, a few baby sharks, a live conch, and some jellyfish.

Daniel was great and our family had an amazing time! We saw turtles, stingray, sharks, fishes, jelly fish, conch and the beautiful mangrove. I would totally recommend this tour and Daniel. You cannot miss this one...fun for all ages!

Fun morning kayaking with Mikey in the mangroves. Easy for all levels and great for families. Double kayaks. You get towed across the channel which is fun and relaxing, and then kayak through the mangroves and some more open waters. Informative and saw turtles, lemons sharks, and conch. A good time!!

Our guide, Smit, was fantastic - knowledgeable, engaging and patient with the first time paddlers. We saw numerous turtles, conch, jellyfish and a baby lemon shark. Fantastic!

Miracle was our tour guide and we highly recommend this tour. Miracle was very knowledgeable, has great humour making the education part of the trip funny yet beneficial. We learned a lot on our kayak and had an amazing time!!

Amazing tour with a great guide (Benowi ??), who was very knowledgeable. Great logistics - got picked up at hotel. A first class operation! Definitely recommend.

If you have seen iguanas and sea turtles before you will be disappointed. You walk around the iguana island and see lots of them. None too big. Learn about them. The beach there is beautiful. From there you kayak to Mangrove. When someone sees a turtle or anything of interest, it’s usually not you and by the time you get there it’s gone. If you’re lucky it passes by you. Unfortunately you’re in a kayak so low, you don’t see much. You see turtle’s heads going up for air. I saw them
Much better from the dock in Curacao. We saw a foot long white baby shark. The best pet was seeing the live conch seriously! We could take it in our hands which was cool. I would suggest a boat tour where you can see from above

The kayak trip with Island Adventures was fantastic. It was the perfect length of time and the right amount of physical activity. Two things really made our trip- Mikey, our guide was funny, patient and extremely knowledgeable. Secondly, there are so many cool things to see- all the turtles, the lemon shark, the conch and the mangroves. I would highly recommend this company and trip!

The earlier the better or so we were told & it seems to be true~ it’s something to do with the tides coming in & out of the mangroves. We were picked up at 630a & kayaking in the water by 8a.. I think they do later tours (9a~ maybe 10a tops? But the sun is biting then) so I suggest as they did, take an early tour. Hope this is helpful

Most of the water you travel is shallow. You are provided with a life preserver vest and the guide is with you continuously.

Hello, we’re considering this adventure but there is no start time listed? Only that it’s a two hour excursion. We will have our own transportation from Turtle Cove area. Would just like to what TIME the excursion begins and what time we should be there?

When we booked, the excursions went approximately every 2 hours. The actual times depend on the tide as some of the mangroves cannot be navigated at low tide.
The tours starts at the public beach access off Prince of Wales Dr. We were also staying in Turtle Cove and it took 15-20 min to drive there. You need to be there a few minutes early for the safety briefing.
Once you book, they send out an email with all of the details. Well worth it.
