We had a great time with Joe and Joseph! Was fun to learn about the fish around Turks and Caicos - we caught 4 huge tuna! Great family activity. They provided transportation to and from the marina. They also had some fun photo ops to take pictures with our catch!

We have fished with Grand Slam several times and never got disappointed. Good action! Joseph and Joe are exceptional. Looking forward to our next trip.

Captain Joseph and First Mate Joe were wonderful. They showed my wife and I a wonderful time fishing. We caught 2 beautiful Wahoo and a large Barracuda. Trip was on time and the boat amenities were as advertised. I’d highly recommend these two on Angler Management.

Went with Captain Joe and first mate Joe on Angler Management. Wonderful guys to talk to and were very knowledgable. This was me and my families first time in Provo and were looking forward to a great fishing trip to add to our vacation! I was hoping for a blue marlin, since the season typically starts around this time and Ive never caught one, but also hoping for some tuna or wahoo bites. The conditions were excellent this day, and it couldn't have been more beautiful out on the water. First mate Joe told us a story about a group from July, 2023 that caught a 500 lb blue marlin in nearly 250 foot of water trying to wrap up the trip for the day. 20 minutes after telling this story, Captain Joe was telling first mate Joe to switch to Tuna setup, and as soon as he grabbed the skirted ballyhoo rig, the reel started zinging! We reeled in about a 250 lb blue marlin! The first for myself and my family. Truly wonderful experience! Great boat and great crew! Highly recommend!

We had a great time with our captain, Joseph and the first mate, Nico. We were able to land two beautiful Wahoo with the help of these guys. Of the 3 boats out that day, we were the only successful trip.
I’d use them again as we’ve caught 4 Wahoo with them over the last 3 years.

An amazing day as our family of 7 left Turtle Cove Marina for a deep sea fishing adventure! Our guides were interactive with us and just as excited as we were when we pulled in 2 barracudas. Music, beverages, boat ride on the ocean---what is not to love!! Thank you, Grand Slam Fishing for an adventure of a lifetime!

Best fishing trip we’ve been on by far! Captain Joe and Niko were awesome, really attentive and friendly, they kept us on the fish and we ended up with several big tuna. The crew filleted them on the dock and we had a chef prepare them for an amazing dinner. Definitely a highlight of the trip and am already looking forward to booking them again on our next visit.

First time doing deep sea fishing. We were all very excited, and even catched two small barracudas!
The only thing we failed to anticipate was getting sea-sickness…First time in a small boat at the deep sea, and it was quite rocky at times. My kids faired well, but my wife and I not so much.
The reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars:
- The crew was nice and helpful. However they did not explain to us the very basic on what they were doing for fishing, even how the reels work (we informed them it was our first time). As a result of this, I made a basic mistake with the reel and the biggest fish we could have catched escaped…Explaining the basics would have taken 5 min, especially considering we paid a premium for a private tour (and at the end gave generous tips).
- If the know that at least 50% of people get sea-sickness, why don't the carry medicated bracelets (even if we have to buy from them), or at the very least strongly suggest we buy them in advance? This could easily ruin the experience, to the point I was grateful we didn’t book the full-day experience.
- Explain up-front if and what fishes we catch we are allowed to keep…otherwise it appears ‘fishy’, even if they give reasons why we cannot keep some fishes (like barracuda).
I believe these are all matters that can be easily fixed. From our part, we will certainly keep an eye on these points for the next time.
