My husband and I had an absolutely amazing evening watching the divers while enjoying a romantic dinner. The view was perfect. The food was delicious. Our tour guide Rudy and Mario made everything so much fun. They went out of their ways to make sure everything was perfect.

Experienicia exclusiva, cultural y divertida. Muy recomendable. Te llevan a lugares maravillosos que la gente no conoce de Acapulco.

I had planned two trips with tour by Van.
The first one was cancelled (03/21/2020) to go see the Luche Libre event.
I contacted Rudy from the Fiesta Americana and he said that they had to cancel the event due to the Corona virus. I understood. He asked me if I would like a refund or a credit for another event.
I stated that I didn't know if I would be coming back to Acapulco (but i told him that it was a beautiful city and the people were so friendly) but I would want a refund.
The next day I had scheduled the cliff diving dinner tour and a tour of the hotel Johnny Weismuller constructed in the 40's.
Definitely was not disappointed ( only draw back is I should have scheduled the day tour).
Anyway my guide was Santiago (a native Acapulanian).
He was the best. I was his only passenger for the event. I guess the corona bothered enough people to cancel reservations.
Santiago, you were the best. Fluent english and very personal. We talked about growing up there the current political climate and life in general.
Rudy, due to the uncertaintity of the toursim outlook, don't let him go.
He is an excellent ambassador for the city of Acapulco.
The Mirador hotel where I watched the cliff divers was nice. I had dinner there right on the edge of the restaurant. Wait staff was excellent. Don't know the two gentlemans name but they did a great job of serving the single "gringo".
To me however, I think the day tour would have been nicer but hey, I can't complain when you're on vacation.
Great job Rudy and Santiago.

Very impressive performance for a reasonable price. A great show and a bit of nostalgia as well. Got to meet the divers after the show. While the diving (we saw 4 single dives and one pair) was the highlight, watching these guys climb the rock face and swim through those wicked currents was pretty impressive as well.
