After 10 years I visited Fr. Vallarta and I found it pretty much the same. It has not been modernized. Malecón and Nuevo Vallarta, nothing has changed, saved the increase in the number of vehicles and traffic on its main avenue.

Bright shirts were easy to find outside the airport. From there, we were out and off to our hotel. The driver was courteous!

Nice way to get out of the Puerto Vallarta airport. The airport is crazy and confusing once you leave customs. Make sure you walk past all the time share people and go outside of the airport, then walk left until you see their pop up gray and blue sign about 100 feet down. Keep in mind that they are not putting you on a marked van. They simply connect you with participating cab drivers to get you to where you are going. If the cab that shows up is not big enough, ask for another.

We used Gray Line for both of our airport trips. They were clean, courteous, and on time. Will most definitely recommend and book them again.

I had booked an transfer at Puerto Vallarta airport to bring my family to our condo. They arrived at 1;30 am and I had booked the van for that time. When they arrived no one was there and someone said they never work that late. I had paid over $66.00 in advance. I have tried to contact Trip advisor but no luck. I think I was scammed. Would not recommend this way to book a transfer. If anyone has any recommendations on how to get a refund I would appreciate any help. Thank you. Richard S

The absolute worst experience ever. Avoid at all cost.
Arrived at the pick up location and waited 1.5 hours for our private transportation. Round trip transportation was booked via Costco vacation package. Agent provides paperwork for booking return trip that required my to meet with a Gray Line representative at a completely different hotel than where I was staying. Ridiculous!
I called the specific representative who I was supposed to meet at the completely different hotel and she told me she was busy and call back later. Instead, I sent her a text message that was never answered.
I ended up having to walk to the other hotel to meet the agent where she printed out the voucher for my return trip.
The car arrived late, smelling of cigarettes, seats with exposed foam, NO SEATBELTS, and no air conditioning. It was the absolute worst, and unsafe, transfer I’ve ever experienced. The final issue was the driver stopped at a completely different hotel on the way to the airport where I had to meet with yet another Gray Line representative to sign another voucher while Los presenting the voucher I obtained previously.
I’ve filed a claim with Costco, which contracted with Gray Line.
Avoid the company!

Our Gray Line driver and taxi were great.
Unfortunately, the airport is full of people posing as helpful who aren't. We were told to look for someone inside the airport to tell us where our Gray Line car would be. But, we got hijacked by a timeshare salesman. We were directed to a guy at a desk. Suddenly he was offering us a half price boat tour, etc, and free tequila shots. Thinking it was just a boat tour, we signed up. Then at the very end he announced that we had to eat breakfast at a hotel down the beach to pick up our tour tickets.
It wasn't just a boat tour, now we were told we HAD to pick up our tour tickets from a "hotel" which turned out to be a timeshare condo, not a hotel. It was very annoying. Not Gray Line's fault, but a word to the wise here.

Puerto Vallarta airport is also a bad experience but the shuttle service made it worse. they sent us all over the parking lot looking for the shuttle when we finally found our location he would not take us until more people showed up. We ended up taking another Taxi

The shuttle to our hotel from the airport was fine, but I'm sure I booked a round trip and only got one way. We can walk back to the airport, it's very close so it's fine for us, but I wouldn't have paid as much as I did for a one way trip.
The bigger reason I'm giving only one star is they try to sell you tours "at a discount" through them when you confirm your return trip. Our rep, Leslie, wasn't pushy at all, but when I checked the price she gave me to what I could book online through the company itself, trip advisor or Viator, it was way more expensive to go with grayline.
This left a really bad taste in my mouth, it's outright lying. If you're not actually offering a discount, don't lie to me. Instead offer some other added value for the same price - or just at the very least be honest!
I do NOT recommend booking anything with Grayline in Puerto Vallarta.

If you put it in the booking, it will give you the price. You pick dates, location of your hotel, and number of people.

Taxis are ver cheap in Puerto Vallarta. Don't book transfers with a travel agency before you go. It is only five or six dollars to go from the airlort all the way into old Vallarta so it would be less than that to your hotel.
