a good choice

A good choice. Pirice is reasonable and service is great. Would like to recommend to other people to try if they are new to this city. The guide was provided in Englsh and Spanish, but I am fine with it. As a pakaged tour, I did not expect much and my expectaion is filfulled. Hey, hard to write long commen t on that12 12 2 What else you want us to write ? I personal do not like to system that adked me to write up some meningless words

Beware you may not get the tour you book

To start I booked a tour that was just Teotihuacan & Basílica of Guadalupe Tour with Amigo, that was supposed to end at 4:20 pm, but Amigo combined this tour with one that added an additional Aztec site within the city & the shopping tequila tasting.

We chose our tour for several reasons but also it was not the 9+ hour tour. We did not find out we were combined into another tour until we finished our first stop.

The basic organization by Amigo was lacking from the start. We booked an English tour but when it was time to sort the group (at the pick up point) our guide only spoke the directions in Spanish so this left a lot of us bewildered.

Our tour guide was not a good story teller. She spoke way too fast, did not present historical facts in a way that could be followed. When she finished her talk, she turned & started walking to the next stop. No questions were asked or comments.

She was also unable to keep track of the group to move us along. She just walked on.

So, we not only did not get the tour we wanted & paid for our guide was not engaging.

Hello, many thabnks for all your comments below about the Pyramids tour. We are sad to hear your experience wasnt as you wanted to be. It is signed on the descriptions that the tequila tasting, Tlatelolco visit is included on your visit. These are really interesting stops in order you can understand better the Mexican history and we do this itinerary everyday with no problem at all. Remember Mexico city is the crowdest city in Latin America and the second in the world, so traffic most of the time will make the tour takes more time than usual. We are always trying to improve our service, we will speak with the guide in order she can be more comprehensive with you and in advance we apologize about this experience. If you please contact us in the following 3 days we can bring an extra tour by free for you :)

Great visit, and you don't need to take an organized tour

We took an Uber/cabify (both are cheap, clean and available) from our hotel in City of Mexico to the Pyramids of Teotihican. The Uber costed us less than 500 MXN and, for a very cheap entry fee to the site, we were able to explore the site at our leisure. We arrived there around 9:00AM and we left around 11:45AM.
Then we ordered another uber/cabify from there to Basilica of Guadalupe (he arrived to pick us just in less than 10 minutes.
After visiting the Basilica site and even atend the Holy Mass, we then had a quick lunch in a nearby Tacos site and ordered anther uber/cabify back to our hotel. Great day and a good deal.

Great trip!

Great trip! Exactly as advertised! The guide did a great job at all three locations. The extra stop for shopping and lunch by the pyramids was a blast! Plenty of tequila to drink on the bus and at the stops.

One piece of advice, do NOT buy the lunch through the ticket. It is not worth it. You will have great food options outside the pyramids.

Maravilhoso

Tudo certo, com horário, guia turístico, os lugares, Pirâmides de Teotihuacán e Basílica de Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe. Só não pudemos visitar o centro histórico da Cidade do México, estava fechado por causa da visita de Kamala Harris, vice presidenta dos EUA, na cidade.

Not soo good trip

The guide was too much concerned with the Christian part of the trip and there wasn't enough time for the pyramids themselves. Even though we had ordered a trip without food, they still took us to a restaurant where we had to wait. The restaurant is next to the pyramids, so if wi the guide told us about it, we could have been on the pyramids longer. Moreover the restaurant was very overpriced!

Great day at pyramids

We enjoyed the tour, especially the time climbing, exploring, and photographing the pyramids. The other stops were interesting and educational as well. We had 2 major problems and 1 suggestion. We waited an hour and 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. That got us off to a bad start. Secondly, way too much time was wasted in tacky gift shops where we were encouraged to buy. Our suggestion as English speakers would be headphones with translation, as we waited a long time while the guide explained in Spanish and then listened to an abbreviated English explanation, as our guide’s English was limited.
