Great activity with friends

Highly recommend this class. Luiz is a great guide. He picked us up near our place and was very knowledgable about Mexico City's History. He was very easy going and his family farm is a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. I went with two of my friends and we learned to make tortillas, tortes, and salsa. It's a great activity for family or friends. His aunt was a delight as well!

Authentic Mexican Cooking experience!!!

This was a 10 out of 10 experience for my wife and I on our honeymoon! I am a chef and wanted an authentic experience while in Mexico, and Luis and his family delivered! Luis picked us up from our hotel and took us to a local market to pickup fresh produce and chilis! Then drove us into the mountains to his families restaurant. We then got to grill fresh tomatillos, onions, chilis, etc to make three different type of salsa's! He walked us through selecting the right produce and why it's Soo important! We then got to use a mortal and pestle to grind our charred veggies into delicious salsa's. We then got a quick tutorial on pressing fresh tortillas and before we knew it, my wife and I had taken over the grill making tortillas for our lunch. We sat down and had a delicious Michelada and the best tacos I've ever had! They brought out additional dishes and feed us until we waved the surrender flag and said we were full! It was an amazing experience that we will cherish for a lifetime! If you are looking for an authentic experience, want to learn about salsa's, cooking techniques (I've been a professional chef for 20 years and left feeling like I learned sooooo much) then this is the experience for you!!!!!

The day was amazing, Luis received me at the countess told me a little about the experience of the day, from there we traveled about 30

The food was delicious, Luis taught me many things about Mexican food that faced me, the view is also super amazing

Wonderfully authentic and enjoyable experience

I tremendously enjoyed this cooking class which took place in a quaint little place hidden deep in a valley. The guide is a foodie (in the best sense of the word) and fluent in English. He's very knowledgable and open minded person. If you like cooking over fire and from scratch with fresh ingredients this is highly recommended tour. I wouldn't want to have missed this experience.
