We absolutely loved this tour and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an off-the-beaten-path experience. Rudy is a local from Chiapas and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the area, so we learned so much about the state of Chiapas and the local traditions. We started off at Cañon Sumidero and then went to an annual festival that was taking place at a nearby town. We were one of the only tourists in the town and Rudy connected us with locals and showed us a one-of-a-kind experience. I can't wait to go back again and explore more towns with Rudy and his team.

I cannot recommend Rodolfo more highly! I spent three full days with him in Chiapas and they were wonderful. He showed me sights and festivals that felt magical, took me all over San Cristobal, helped me find the best shopping, and was friendly, bright, and fun. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful day we had, swimming in the river, watching a professional chef do his thing, and enjoying what we created. This was a gastronomical experience I certainly won’t forget! The river was beautiful, relaxing, and not touristed. Of course the food was incredible, but so was being able to actually see it being made, and to hang out the group. What an enjoyable day I’ll be reminiscing about for a long time.

We had a great time with Rudy visiting Cañon Del Sumidero and Chapa De Corso. He had a great local knowledge as he grew up in the area, and he has a long experience in tourism. The experience was very personal, and Rudy followed our pace, which was really nice.
I would highly recommend this tour. In addition I suggest booking multiple tours with him given his big knowledge.

Rudy was an amazing guide the entire day. He had a lot of local knowledge and was very friendly and outgoing.
We really enjoyed our small group of three people, which made the tour very relaxed and pleasant.
10/10 recommendation!

We recently visited Chiapas Mexico, more specifically the area of San Cristobal de las Casas. While visiting we had the pleasure of taking a personal guided tour by Rudy. I can say without hesitation it was an experience of a lifetime, from start to finish. Rudy Exceeded all our expectations turning a memorable trip into an extraordinary adventure.
Rudy’s passion for the destinations we visited, as well his personal relationships with many of the community members helped create a perspective visitors rarely get to experience. His extensive knowledge of the area including historical information made every stop on the tour come to life. The fascinating stories and historical facts were an experience like no other.
If you are looking for an unforgettable travel experience and not just a copy and paste tour look no further. Our journey was nothing short of magical and we whole heartedly recommend Rudy

We spent 2 days with Rudy exploring Sumidero Canyon and the villages of Chamula and Zinacantan. Rudy was very laid back and amenable to our needs. We explored a side of Sumidero Canyon few visitors get to see, are delicious food in Chiapa de Corzo and were able to explore several textile workshops in the Indigenous villages. At every point during our tours we were given flexibility to move at our own pace and Rudy was available to answer our questions. Setting up the tours were also a breeze. Monika, Rudy’s wife was very easy to communicate with , and was quick to answer our questions about the tours. We will leave Chiapas with a much greater understanding of its culture, gastronomy and history thanks to Experiencias Chiapas.

I had a fantastic time experiencing the huge, vibrant festival of Chiapa de Corzo with Rudy! Rudy is a lovely, trustworthy and knowledgeable guide who clearly absolutely loves his culture and is enthusiastic to share it with others. We spent some time wondering around the fiesta, trying local food and drinks, getting photos with locals and wondering up to a beautiful view point to enjoy some beers. I would not have enjoyed the experience as much without a guide - it was so nice to have some insight into what was happening in the fiesta! Afterwards Rudy drove us back to San Cristóbal de las casas which was super convenient. Thanks Rudy for such a great experience!

This year I went with experience chiapas to see the festival at Chiapa de Corzo. Rudy is a fantastic guide who was very friendly as well as he was very knowledgeable about the festival. We had plenty of time during the day to see the festival and to enjoy the local cuisine. Overall is was a fantastic experience! I highly recommend it!
