We did multiple dives with the Aquaworld crew over three days including the reef dive, the shipwreck dive, the bull sharks, and the cenotes. We had a fantastic experience with Aquaworld and their divemasters (Samwell, Lorenzo, Hector, and Hector). They made every accommodation for us, were vey knowledgeable, and were extremely courteous and friendly. In particular, we were very happy with their recognition of our dive ability levels and adjusted our experiences accordingly without ever compromising our safety. Would 100% recommend and dive with them again next time we are in Cancun, and there will be a next time.

This dive experience was one of my favorites of 36 dives in my life time. My Dive Master was excellent and the caves were magnificient as to the scenery in the water and on the walls. Not sure why we couldn't take our own pictures.

Our cenote experience was awesome. Beautiful dive. Our dive master Hector was great. Knowledgeable and very courteous. We will definitely be using Aqua World during our future diving trips in Cancun.

The two dives were my first cavern dives. First dive was a disaster. Went down without enough weight and had a difficult time maintaining proper buoyancy. Feel like I missed the entire dive. I had asked for more weight before we went in but was told "This will be the right amount. We will have more weight if needed". Well, my dive Master Hector didn't. Same experience as Travel_guy9999 with Hector - not pleasant with a very short fuse. Got more weight for the second (much shorter) dive, had great buoyancy control and a much better experience. My own fault - should have pushed for more weight at the onset and didn't. I think I enjoy bright open dives with colorful fish, coral and wildlife better than dark, cramped spaces with no living beings present - call it a personal choice.
These are technical dives. Small dark spaces with no light other than the flashlights your group is carrying. You need a mastery of your buoyancy before doing this dive and they will tell you as much when you sign up - believe them.
Glad I did the trip once, but would not do this one again. Started at their main location in the hotel zone. Resort sales person started by saying it would be about an hour trip to the dive site. That turned into "maybe about and hour and a half by van" after he had me signed up. Was told it was probably and hour and forty five before we left the for the dive, maybe two hours because we needed to make two stops along the way to pick up other guests. Ended up over two hours each way. Not fun to spend four hours on a short vacation in the back of a van.

Instrutor Hector e motorista Alex foram excelentes.
Peguei uma semana de ventos fortíssimos, o que impossibilitou a saída para o mar.
Fiz o cenote 2 OJOS (imperdível) e o TAJMA-HA, muito lindo.
O staff da acquaworld é bacana, sendo flexível quando necessário, muito amigável.
Especialmente a dupla Hector e Alex fizeram a experiência ficar mais gostosa.
Obrigada e recomendo!

This was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Hector our guide got us all set up, explained what we were going to experience and off we went in a beautiful clean comfortable ride with Alex driving us. Once we arrived at Taj Maha Cavern, Samuel, Alex, and Hector briefed us, got us into our dive gear. Just saying Samuel carried all my dive gear and when I expressed appreciation he shared this is part of his culture to take care of women. THEN we did our dives....amazing from start to finish. We spent time in a cave and it was quite mystical. The light rays were stunning. Truly if you are a Diver and have not done anything like this you need to. Look up AquaWorld and ask for Hector, Samuel, and Alex. Tremendous crew who went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional. THANK YOU!

This was my first cavern dive. I have done about 15 dives but I freaked out in the beginning due the darkness and enclosed space. Instead of letting me quit, my guide hector calmed me down under water and grabbed my hand and helped me through the first dive checking on me every other minute.
After the first dive I was happy and excited but when it came to the second dive, my nerves started up again. He encouraged me to try and I agreed. And I’m so happy I did. It was magical! Again on the second dive hector checked on me every other minute and applauded me underwater to give me encouragement.
Hectors expertise, encouragement and confidence allowed me to get to the next level in my diving.
Thank you, hector!!! You are an amazing teacher and I’m so glad I met you.

Some of the guys there - do an Excellent job, and are very professional and friendly - so great stuff.
On the boat tours, doing diving - the boat guys are also doing a great job.
But if you can choose your own guide, I would recommend you to avoid a guy called Hector G.
I have had over 300 dives - and never before have I had such an arrogant guide. He prefers not to talk to clients and but if you do something that he dont like, e.g not swimming in perfect line or losing some of your own gear - then he becomes very mad - and talk to you like you where a kindergarten kid. That not the way to treat the client - and this is the first time in 300 dives I had meet a guys with such a Negativ attitude.
I gave the high rating for the rest of the crew… had this rating only been for Hector - I would have given 0 ⭐️
