Transportation was great. We did a round trip from Cancun Airport to our hotel in Holbox.
To clarify what’s included: pickup at airport just outside the terminal a driver is waiting. Then private transportation to the Holbox ferry landing. The driver then gives you the ferry tickets. The ferry leaves every 30 minutes. When you get off the ferry a golf cart and driver are waiting to take you to your hotel.
All the drivers had signs and were waiting for us at the designated locations. They offered to stop for a bathroom break or to get water/snack along the way.
Vehicles were nice and clean vans clearly marked.
The additional fee for the Tollway really made a difference. On the way to Holbox the tollway was closed for police activity and the drive took 3 1/2 hours to go the long way. On the return the tollway was clear sailing and took just over 2 hours.

Our ride from CUN to Holbox was a nightmare. Our driver did NOT use the toll roads. Since we had no clue, we trusted him. Tolls were included in the cost too...
He drove like a reckless maniac even though we nicely asked him twice to slow down. He was passing cars at a crazy speed on a regular road (not a freeway). My guess is he pocketed the toll road moneys and drove another route instead and in order to make up for that time he drove like a crazy person. That also explains why he asked us if we had ever been to Holbox before. Had we known he would have never driven those weird "side streets". We figured this out on our way back, after specifically asking for another driver, that in fact DID drive the toll roads aka freeway and took us back to CUN in a quick and safe manner. Even though the back ride went well I would not book with this same company again. I was travelling with my older parents and they were very scared by the unsafe driving style.

Reliable transport. On time. Careful drivers. Much better than driving yourself. The drivers know where all of the speed bumps are!

The driver who took me from Cancun Airport to Chiquilá was great and the van was big and clean and new. He was friendly and pointed out cool things along the way. He was also very patient with my beginner Spanish! Once in Chiquilá he helped me get a ferry ticket and told me to go fast for the ferry as they were waiting for me. He made the journey from the airport very smooth. Communication with the company was great too. They were friendly and accessible and made booking very easy. Highly recommend.

Getting to Isla Holbox is a bit tricky, but Holbox Adventures came through as my private transportation to/from Cancun Airport to my hotel on Isla Holbox.
From the Cancun Airport, you are taken to the port of Chiquila about two hours away. Then you take a 30-minute ferry to the port of the island, and then a golfcart taxi to your hotel.
Holbox Adventures had it all coordinated very smooth both ways. They were on time and there was a representative waiting at all points of the service.
I highly recommend this company for your airport transfer to Isla Holbox!

We took our daughter for her birthday weekend to Holbox. When we arrived at the Cancun airport outside the airport was chaotic. However, we found a sign with our names on it. Our driver was fantastic he made a 2 1/2 hour trip very enjoyable. He took our daughter to a have fresh coconut on the way. Ones we arrived at chiquilla were given our ferry tickets. The ferry took about 30 minutes to arrive to Holbox. Ones in Holbox we were met by our driver Luis who was excellent. Taxi driver Luis was very knowledgeable. He gave tips on tours and information about the island. Anytime we call he was always available and on time. Thank you Luis for an amazing job, and to all drivers for your dedication and professionalism!. You help our trip so much enjoyable!!!!. We highly recommend Holbox Adventure as your transport. We will use them again.

Our travel plans from the Cancun Airport to Isla Holbox fell through at the last minute and I was referred to Holbox Adventure by another tour operator on the island. I contacted Holbox Adventure through WhatsApp and made all the arrangements with ease. They emailed me an invoice and I paid it online. When we arrived to the airport, it was chaotic as it always is there with taxi drivers and shuttle operators all trying to get your business. It put us at ease knowing that we already had arrangements made ahead of time. Our driver, Francisco, arrived with a sign with my name on it so there was no mistaking who my driver was. We flagged him down and he promptly helped us with our luggage to the van. Once in the van, we headed for Chiquila, but not before stopping at the convenience store for some refreshments for the long drive. At Chiquila, Francisco got our ferry tickets for us and al we had to do was wait for the boat. In Holbox, a taxi driver was waiting for us with a sign with my name on it. He took us straight to our hotel. It couldn't have been any easier! Being our first time to Holbox, we were a little nervous about where to go, but Holbox Adventure took care of it all. Our return trip was just as easy. Taxi showed up to our hotel, took us to the ferry and gave us tickets. Once back in Chiquila, a driver awaited us with a sign with my name. He drove us to the Ultramar Ferry in Puerto Juarez (Cancun) for our trip to Isla Mujeres. Super easy and stress free!

Just perfect.
They were waiting for us when we arrived and sorted out all tickets and even the golf cart in Holbox.
You can also contact them anytime on Whatapp which we did just to confirm our return that again went like clockwork.
Highly recommended.

Jesus was amazingly flexible with my changes before I arrived. I hired a driver, Daniel, to and from airport and for two day tours (ChichenItza/Ik Ill and Tuum). These generous, kind men were excellent, professional and I highly recommend them. Thank you Holbox Adventure. You made my trip delightful.

I recommend using them. They were on time and very easy to work with. They provided transport from the airport all the way to our final destination.
