I am very disappointed with Mexico Travel Solution. My flight was delayed by 4 hours… arrival into Cancun was supposed to be 9:10 pm on November 30th 2014.
I contacted MTS on WhatsApp as soon as I knew the flight was delayed, of course had no idea how delayed…was assured that it wasn’t a problem as they would monitor the flight, there was a few texts which ended with their reassurance they would be there for me, As it turned out my flight didn’t arrive into Cancun until 1:10am on Dec 1st….4 hours later of course. By the time I disembarked the flight and got to the shuttle area it was 2am. The agent from MTS was there but after several tries could not find a driver. I had pre paid for a private shuttle. So I had to take a taxi to my hotel at the added cost of $110 USD. Was assured that MTS would reimburse me as they were not available. No such luck…they said I was a NO SHOW….and refused to reimburse me….had they followed my flight arrival, which was out of my control…they should have had someone there. As a senior solo person, this was very distressing.
I would NOT recommend MTS at all as they left me stranded…,be careful folks…if your flight is delayed they will call you a NO SHOW….you cannot depend on them.

SCAM!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
My partner and I arrived to the Cancun airport on December 11th, having already booked mts private shuttle service through our Hilton Playa Del Carmen all-inclusive resort. We paid $250 for round trip service. When we arrived the shuttle was there and the ride to the resort was fine. However, upon checkout the receptionist called our room @7:41am to say that our driver was there @7:35am (no one ever informed us) and he had left. When going to the lobby the receptionist claimed that they sent us an email with the pick up time even though my partner showed her proof that an email was never sent. We had to contact them to even figure out how airport pick up worked.
Customer service gave us the run around and offered no solutions. We were forced to come out of pocket an additional $74 for a taxi. They should be ashamed of themselves for scamming paying customers.

Is there a -10 star option?? NEVER reserving with them again! We arrived on December 1st at 12 noon. We got through bags and security fast, we were done by 12:20. We came out and met with their so called agents. We waited till 2pm to have someone pick us up, after I had to call their supervisor and argue with him. Yes he decided to call us lairs. That we lied about what time we got there. Why would I lie?? We sat there for 1:30 while his amazing agents kept looking at us, and scratching their heads. So naturally we were frustrated yes, so we called their operating system. I mean, I have never waited that long at Cancun airport to be picked up....Pick up on December 7th. No one was there, we just hopped in another shuttle company's van, with an amazing professional driver who was there on time actually, to pick up his clients. So basically we paid and we did not even get a ride back. Scammers and remember, their "supervisor" on the phone will argue with you, turn things on you and say It's YOUR fault! He also told me that the MTS agents were not his employees???Then who are your employees and where are they and why are they not doing their work?? Joke.

We hired an online van to get to the Riu Peninsula hotel in Cancun and there we met Alan, who helped us organize tours like Isla Mujeres, Chichen Itza and Coco Bongo, all very entertaining. Their friendliness, excellent service and personalized attention made everything easier and organized. Highly recommended!”

Do not get their service. They have so many bad reviews on google because they dont show up or are plain rude. For me they didnt show up and I had to get a taxi to the airport. I called customer service to get reimbursed and they refused claiming they did show up. They are liars and a big scam.

We contract with price travel the private shuttle service for the airport and very punctual in the collection of both points.
The guide Carina Gutierrez is excellent salesperson and excellent at reporting, adjusts the plan to all your expectations and has incredible charisma, the plus is that it gives you timely follow-up.

Please avoid at all cost. I honestly regret booking them with expedia without reading the reviews from other sources. Two days before our arrival I read so many negative reviews about them AND PLEASE TAKE MY WORD FOR IT THEY WERE'NT LYING. When we arrived at the airport there's already a big group of people that have been waiting for 2hours for their transport. We were told that the drivers / vans were stuck in traffic due to a protest and showed us a picture of a traffic jam (that literally look like it came from google). We waited for almost an hour and half with the same people that was there before we arrived, all with the same reason the vans are still stuck in traffic. If you keep asking them, they will start giving you attitude LMAO. Next thing you know, NONE of their vans arrived, so they "hired" this private standby vans that has been there since we arrived to drop us off instead. And nope, there was no traffic jam Going to the airport. For our return, they told us they will pick us up at 7am when our flight is at 1pm (ridiculous) so I booked a different transport going back to the airport instead so me and my partner get to enjoy more of our stay. Surprisingly, I was told by the hotel concierge they really showed up at 7am. Do yourself a favour, DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!
