Awesome golf course. Thoroughly enjoyed start to finish. I played here a couple of weeks before the LIV event that is scheduled on 24th Feb. The course was in fantastic shape. I am a professional from the UK and the staff could not have been more obliging and welcoming a credit to the facility and services offered. Great test and great practice facilities. Will be back. Thanks to all

La cancha no me pareció tan desafiante. Jugué también en la cancha Iberostar paraíso y me pareció más dificil. El costo de Mayacoba es mas del doble que la otra cancha y me sorprendió que a diferencia de Iberostar y Hard Rock durante el juego no hay servicio en hoyo 9, ni aguas o jugos incluidos. En resumen les recomiendo buscar otras alternativas más económicas, mas entretenidas y con mejor servicio.

A wonderful PGA tournament golf course . Very scenic.
Superbly presented . Simply the best Golf service team I’ve encountered. Joaquin and his team of Juan , Eduardo,Elfego,Miguel,Manuel,Oscar, Adrian , Freddy and also Julia in the office are providing world class service. Mayakoba is lucky to have such a fabulous group of staff. Best wishes from Mark & Caroline from Royal Portrush.

The course was being aerated the week of my visit. I wanted to play there so I called. The front nine was being aerated on Monday so I played the back nine twice. On Wednesday I reversed it and played the front nine twice. On Friday I played the entire course. Even after being aerated the course was in perfect condition. The greens and fairways were perfect. Very challenging course but super fun to play! The best part of the whole experience was the staff. They were very accommodating and very friendly. They made sure I was taken care of! It was hot and humid but they made sure I stayed cool with water and a nice wet towel. I played as a single and the Marshall made sure I was happy and could play through if I wanted to. All of the staff was on top of their game. I really felt like I was appreciated and they cared about my experience there! At the end of the round they gave me a popsicle! Not a big deal but it hit the spot. I sat there enjoyed my popsicle and chatted with the staff. I never felt pressured to hurry up or move on. In fact they told me over and over to take my time and do whatever I wanted. I was in Playa del Carmen for a week and played there 3 times. My next trip I will play there every day and bring my golf buddies! It’s not the cheapest golf course in town but worth every penny! Budget accordingly and you will have a great experience too!

As a non-golfer, I wasn’t nearly as excited about this trip as my husband. After spending the day here, I’m excited to go back again in the future. We’re staying off property so needed a ride to the course. Jerry was a great driver who navigated expertly through traffic and road work like a pro! He gave us some great restaurant recommendations and was overall great to spend some time with. On the course, Liz took some amazing pictures of us and took great care of us across the entire course of play. Our experience at Mayakoba was second to none and we’ll DEFINITELY be back - in large part because of Jerry and Liz. Thank you!!!
