On this tour we felt completely unsafe the entire time we were there. It started by a much longer transfer than we were told and taken to a beach hut where we were asked to pay more than we agreed. They put us on a boat with 31 other people (there was no where to sit, it definitely wasn’t fit for 31 other people plus about 5 crew). We were the only people that spoke English and acted like this was a total inconvenience to them as everyone else could speak Spanish and they had to put an extra staff on just to be able to communicate with us (which he hardly ever did). There was no hammocks, the food was hardly edible and the beach club is NOT as beach club. We were told we would be going snorkelling and to a quiet beach where you could walk out hundreds of meters. This didn’t happen. All the crew were drinking and doing shots even the captin which made us even more uncomfortable, we understand this can happen where they have a drink or two but not to this level. We were sold the trip and a chilled nice day out but it couldn’t have been further from it. Look elsewhere.

We booked this from a seller at the hotel, overall a poor experience.
The tour was not as sold to us, who expected to be able to snorkel around the boat and then be on a beach which ‘stretched for hundreds of metres’ where we could also snorkel, but the reality was the boat dropping you off and leaving you to swim for half an hour and then the beach on Isla Mujeres all be it pretty, crowded and not relaxing.
We booked this trip as it was said to be a relaxing day on the boat, we ended up on a party boat with a bachelor and bachelorette party, with over 30 people on board. Nothing relaxing about this at all. We booked onto an English speaking trip and ended up as the only people who didn’t speak Spanish, and therefore understood little to nothing of what the tour guide was saying as he mostly spoke in Spanish.
Every drink we ordered had tequila in it, even when there was no tequila in the recipe. The food was average and the ‘beach bar’ appears shanty like and dirty.
The staff on the boat were all drinking with the group, leaving me feeling anxious and uncomfortable in the dark on a boat out in the ocean.
Overall, wouldn’t return and wouldn’t recommend.

The company didn't pick me up for this excursion and then refused to refund my money. This company is a scam and rips off tourists ongoing. Do not book any tour with them as they will rip you off.

Everything was wrong with the tour, to start off, they said that we had to pay for parking even though we parked outside of their parking facilities, they threatened to charge an additional fee and even a fine just because they wanted more money. They also lied about the drinks, telling us that we could ask for anything that we wanted for free. They only had tequila, cheap beer, some "cocktails" if we can even call it that, and a couple of sodas. By the way, I asked for a piña colada and they said that they were not part of the menu, we had to pay for it.
The snorkeling experience was mid at its best, very limited coral views, equipment felt cheap and we didn’t even visit the aquatic museum they promised us to.
They had an activity where you jumped in a swing and it elevated you which was part of the tour, I told the guy in charge that I wanted to go first, and he let a bunch of people go ahead of me even though I already had asked and he agreed. I didn’t get the chance to get on it. Only 6 persons out of like 40 got the chance to do it when it said that it was a part of the itinerary and that we’d all do it Lies, lies and more lies from this scamming company.
They were taking pictures of us during the day, but the price for them is out of this world, I’m never paying 15 dollars just for one picture. They are crazy to charge this amount just for one picture.
Also, the crew members were almost forcing us to tip them in the end of the tour. We didn’t, so they got upset and started being aggressive towards us.
0/10, would never do it again. We are very frustrated and upset.

Star Blue runs what has to be the worst tour I’ve ever been on. They lied about everything including but not limited to the time of the tour, the fact that transpiration would be waiting for us, and the fact that alcohol was included. We took 6 people on this tour and were extremely disappointed. Do not take this tour under any circumstances. When our bus driver left us the tour guide Eric said that it wasn’t his problem as we waited on the side of the road not knowing if we would ever be picked up. This tour group’s customer service and quality couldn’t be worse.

If you’re trying to waist your money and time, book this trip.
To start off with something positive, the Pick-up from the hotel was good and on time.
We got there at 8:40am and the boat didn’t leave until 10am. If you’re trying to snorkel, you have to be able to swim half an hour without getting back on the boat, so bad swimmers couldn’t even try it out. The Spinnaker activity was only for one person on the boat, without asking if somebody else would like to try.
The Lunch buffet was horrible, very poor quality and we waisted another hour there, before we even got to Isla Mujeres.
We had just ONE hour on Isla Mujeres, but was promised a whole day there!!
Getting back on the boat was very chaotic and time consuming.
To sum it up: A 10 hour boat ride, with an one hour visit at the main attraction Isla Mujeres. Tried to get everyone drunk on the boat.
Please if you’re trying to make the best out of your time, DO NOT BOOK THIS TRIP!
The island itself is beautiful and worth a visit, just not with StarBlue Catamaran!

Very expensive and overrated, poor, very basic food for the price they charge, there was a fight on top of the catamaran at the hands of the crew, an uncomfortable moment for those of us who traveled, NOT RECOMMENDED

Grossly overrated. Food @ Isla Mujeres was of poor quality at best. Snorkeling equipment is from dollar store. There is no coral to see, only dead algae at bottom of ocean. They try to get everyone drunk with cheap beer ((Montejo) and El Compadre tequila when they tell you it's premium liquor open bar, don't believe it. They play loud reggaeton music the whole trip. You are not allowed to wear any type of footwear on the catamaran and as a consequence of this and them pouring buckets of ocean water on you lega and feet before being aloud to reboard @ Isla Mujeres, I took a nasty spill and injured my knee, elbow and hand while none of the staff lifted a finger to help me up, even though they were standing next to me where I fell on deck. They try to sell you photos they take of you while on board, at insane prices and upon return they beg for tips. The seller is located at the embarcadero in a booth out in front of their "store". We were swindled by Julie, first rate con job for 90 dollars per person (including the island access tax). Never again! Overall, this was a horrible experience with Star Blue tour to Isla Mujeres. Steer clear of this outfit unless you don't care about you safety or value your money.

Would not go again, pretty disappointed. Did not get a spinnaker activity, which was the main reason we selected this trip over others. Check in was a complete mess. Selected the option to start at 9am but the boat didn’t leave until 10. Buffet was OK but nothing special. Boat was very crowded. Snorkeling was good but you can get snorkeling excursions almost everywhere in the area for very cheap.
If doing it over I would much rather take the ferry over to the island and do an individual excursion when at the island. Probably cheaper that way

Este tour fue de lo peor no lo recomiendo por que el guia no completo el tour la comida del buffet estaba horrible. La verdad pague mucho dinero para nada.
