I booked the Discover Scuba experience for my husband as a gift. My husband has been diving two previous times, but his last dive was 10+ years ago. I had never been diving, but it was on my bucket list. I worked with Andres via email to book and to confirm a couple of days before; he was very communicative. When we arrived at the shop for our dive, Jesus greeted us and told us he would be our guide. He fitted us for gear and took us to a training area at Centro Beach. Jesus is bilingual, and we never felt there was a language barrier.
During the training, even though I told Jesus I was feeling anxious, he reassured me that he was there to keep us safe. We were able to pass the tests, but I was still uncomfortable, so he took me underwater to help me regulate my breathing. He was so so patient!! We went out to sea, and unfortunately, I was unable to go under because of my own anxiety; Jesus was so understanding. He took my husband out for an AMAZING dive where they saw turtles, mating stingrays, the MUSA museum, crab, lobster, and many fish! The Captain, wearing a "SEXY and I know it" cap, who spoke no English, was so sweet to offer me water and teach me how to spot my Espousa with the surface bubbles. Jesus offered me snorkeling gear for the second stop at Manchones Reef, and that was an AMAZING experience!!
I can't recommend these guys enough -- a pleasant and very comfortable experience!!

Der var en gid stemning i dykkerbutikken og på båden. Alt føltes godt og trygt. Vores dykkerinstruktør Roberto var dygtig og engageret.

Awesome experience with very knowledgeable staff. They're very clear on instructions of the scuba gear and they make sure you're super comfortable before you dive in. Definitely recommend bringing an underwater camera if you have one (proper case for it) and towels. You catch the ferry at Puerto Juarez and take the Ultramar. It's a super cheap ferry and gets you to Isla Mujeres super fast.

We were originally hoping to do snorkeling with swordfish however they weren’t around. The shop called us and explained and offered for us to go on a different trip instead. My partner was able to do her re certification right before the trip and I got to snorkel while she dived. It was a great trip and everyone was so friendly by pointing things out ( I also appreciated the one guy who wanted to dive but stuck around with me so I could snorkel). I definitely want to learn to scuba after this trip

It was our first dive. We received good instructions and practice. Equipment was good.
Crew was excellent!
Roberto our instructor was very helpful and was always there when we had a hard time.
It was easy to trust him and he navigated excellent when we had panic attack.
It was not easy for us for the first time, but Roberto helped us to overcome all the issues she we enjoyed our first dive!

4 certified divers and 1 discovery diver. Our dive master was fabulous and he took his time instructing the 1st time diver. I’ve used this dive shop my last few dives on the island. Highly recommend it!

We did so much more than a 2 tank dive with Squalo. My 10 year old daughter did her open water certification with Roberto and he was excellent! Very kind and patient and taught her so much about diving and made sure she understood everything before continuing her experience! This company is top notch. Jesus was also so wonderful on our night dive. Highly recommend this place

It was our first scuba experience. We had a great time with the team from Squalo!!! Roberto, Jesus, and Andres were knowledgeable and able to instruct us novices well. Jesus took extra care and literally held the hand of one of us who needed extra reassurance. Highly recommend this for newbies like us. The fish we saw were awesome-barracuda, stingrays, scorpion fish, parrotfish, trumpetfish, grouper, moray eel and sea turtle to name a few.
We HIGHLY recommend Squalo and their team!!!

I was looking to get a couple of more dives in during my trip to Isla Mujeres and my preferred dive company was booked up for that day. A friend told me had told me about the very positive experiences he had with Squalo Adventures so I decided to check them out.
Man, was I ever glad I did! I was looking to see MUSU and Manchones, Even though we had a small group, we still had some different interests. Squalo was extremely accommodating and sent out two highly professional dive masters - Ricardo and Jesus! Ricardo gave me a guided tour of the MUSU underwater museum, and Jesus showed off the beauty of the Manchones Reef.
Both dive masters were very jovial and personable on the trip out and back, and were extremely patient and professional in the water.
I'm so glad I got the opportunity to dive with Ricard and Jesus of Squalo Adventures. You can be sure they'll be at the top of my list the next time I'm in Isla!

My boyfriends discover scuba included a beach skills session and full briefing. He was provided a greater training on this dive than any of the many weve done in Australia. He was also then able to swim more independently while diving than usual. Was a wonderful experience for him and provides greater confidence and understanding before hitting the water and using the gear.

Quisiéramos saber antes de contratar si es adecuada esta propuesta para nosotros o nos sugieren alguna otra.
Somos un matrimonio que no tenemos certificación pero hemos buceado, realizando 3 inmersiones en distintas vacaciones en San Andres y Santa Marta en Colombia y Buzios en Brasil hasta 12 metros en las tres ocasiones, con curso teórico anterior a las inmersión.Llegamos a Isla Mujeres el 3 de agosto por la mañana y quisiéramos hacer el buceo el día 4 y 5.
Espero sus comentarios.
