My tour was cancelled by the company but they only tried to get ahold of me through messages on here- which I didn't receive- despite also having my email and number for Whatsapp, so I was left sitting at the meeting point trying to figure out what was going on.
Now I'm trying to get my money back, since the company cancelled, and I am being ghosted by them.
Definitely not a good way to do business.

Hi Lynnie,
First of all we have not ¨Ghosted¨ you, I have been in touch with you the whole time the only way I have the ability too. When you book through a third party site they do not share all of your personal details with us. This is the email as it appears to me in your reservation (MSG-b5f79d56-1988-4a68-856d-ea4dfe44c07e+BR-1099557901@expmessaging.tripadvisor.com) I contacted you 48 hours prior to your departure to let you know about the cancellation and provided you with options to join another departure time, we are always diligent about updating our customers ahead of time so everyone can make the appropriate arrangements. Furthermore , I would love to give you your money back but again you paid a third party site, they have to issue your refund. I contacted them as well, just like I spoke to you about so they should be giving you your money back. Unfortunate of you to write our first 1 star review about things that are out of our control and when you were clearly advised of the cancellation (I am sorry you didn't see them until later but that doesn't change the fact that we advised you days ahead of time )and showed up anyways. I will contact the third party again to make sure that refund is being processed.

Amazing Tour! We didn’t like the vibe of the other similar companies- they were more open bar / party vibe, whereas this company felt more focused on the animals and environment that we were there to see. Whales were very active so we decided to do more whale watching than snorkling. We saw several different baby/ mama / nanny humpback whales together (7+ different whales total). At the end we followed a baby humpback that fully breached at least 9 times!
We saw other boats that were packed like sardines with customers. Our boat was not packed at all, and we were able to move to any spot on the boat we wanted to get a the absolute closest view.
My only regret is that I don’t remember the names of the guide or captain to give them more personal recognition.

What a great experience! Once in a lifetime. We highly recommend Baja Viking Ecoventures. Great company with excellent communication and knowledgeable crew. The small group & boat was so much better than a big boat with tons of people. The whales were all around us and our guide was so informative and we learned so much about whale behavior. Don’t hesitate to book a trip with this company.

I highly recommend this outfit for whale watching and snorkeling. The boat was excellent and roomy, the captain and crew were incredible. D included little whale toys as visual aids for my 6 year old. We learned quite a bit and had close encounters with 3 separate pods. We watched a baby humpback breach and play next to it's mother for hours. It was incredible.

Better than advertised!
First off the captain was skilled in boat handling, and all of the safety gear was in excellent condition.
Our guide/divemaster was personable, knowledgeable and paid attention to our wants and needs. We had a lovely tour of the arch and surrounding area, spotted some whales and were taken to a dynamite snorkeling area. There were plenty of fish to see and plenty of time to see them. The masks fins and snorkels were clean and in excellent condition. On our way back we spotted a bunch of boats gathering. Following a brief consult between guide captain and passengers we set off to confirm that they had spotted a bunch of whales. The twin 200 hp Yamaha outboards quickly brought us to the area. Staying a proper distance from the whales we were treated to a great show!
Oh, and a few days later we received the email with the link to the photos!

The guide, Fernando, was extremely knowledgeable and playful. I learned a lot and was able to see and listen to whales.

Amazing experience!!! Both our guide and captain were incredible. They were so respectful of the marine life and environment while still ensuring we had a once in a lifetime experience. We saw so many whales and even got to see a sea turtle right up close. INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

What a fabulous experience from start to finish. The staff were knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful and worked very hard to make this a memorable excursion. We saw over a dozen whales, sea turtles and rays and spent 20 minutes with a school of dolphins! The snorkelling was wonderful and we even saw a few small sharks while snorkelling. But what I liked best was how even though they worked very hard to get us some amazing wildlife encounters, they were always mindful to give the animals their space so that they could go about their business in peace without being disturbed by our presence. They also avoided the crowds and focused on locations where we often had the place to ourselves. 5 star experience. Will definitely book with them again!

Really incredible time with Fernando and Mario. Saw many whales breaching, tail-slapping, and baby-mother interactions. Snorkeling was great with beautiful coral to view. The guides were experts and super friendly. Would do it again.

Fernando and Mario were a great team. Fernando was engaging with us and educating us from the moment we met him on the dock. He was great at interacting with the kids and trying to make them feel safe and get them having fun. The whole vibe was very comfortable and welcoming. We were lucky to see SO MANY Humpbacks breaching very close to us, and Fernando and Mario made that insane experience even better. The guys were very cognizant of the little ones' abilities in the water, and found a calm spot for us to snorkel such that everyone would be safe. We didn't have to worry about bringing our cameras either, as Fernando was quick with the Nikon and even the Go Pro under the water. I would definitely do this tour again and recommend others do it too.
