I had a fantastic what turned out to be private tour with Josue Rodriguez Ruiz today.... could have gone on for hours more. Josue was so knowledgeable
And friendly and obviously has a deep love for his ciudad, Puebla. He introduced me to parts of the city that I never knew existed and can't wait to go back to. highly highly highly recommend!

Un tour muy interesante. Si es tu primera vez en Puebla te da muy buen sentido de todo lo que hay que ver. El guía de turistas (Jose Luis) muy amigable y culto.

The guide was extremely professional and prepared. She had PowerPoints and visuals to help explain the history and culture. She also always asked if I had questions and when I did she could answer them. She was very sweet,

I had a great time walking around Puebla with Josue. He was well informed and professional. He also gave me good recommendations for places to eat and to visit. I also enjoyed hearing all of the stories and legends about locations in the city.

It was wirtten that the library was included in the tour. We reached the library and they asked us to pay. We have done different beautiful tours here in Mexico, but this was definitely sub par: the guide knew little or nothing of the cathedral other than few basic notions. On other topics, he was not clear or just very superficial in explanation (or wrong). We preferred to cut short the tour and go to the very recommended Amparo museum by ourselves. Worst 45 usd pp paid here in México.

We are sorry that you had this bad experience, we explained to you why the entrance to the library was not included and you were not charged. All our guides are prepared and have investigated the history of Puebla and everything that it encompasses, Unfortunately they only took the first part of the tour wasting all the stories and legends of the city, we hope you continue to enjoy your travels through Mexico. Nice tour of the main tourist sites in the historic part of Puebla.
The guide Josue was professional, knowledgeable and fluent in English…also a very nice guy.
He recommended a few sites after the tour which I saw on my own and were definitely worth a visit.
