En helt fantastisk opplevelse og helt klart høydepunktet på vietnamturen, jeg er så glad jeg valgte denne turen. Det har vært spektakulær utsikt over fjellandskapet, møte med lokale folk langs veien og nydelige måltider lagt inn på stopp underveis!
Leder for turen og min kjære sjåfør Chi er utrolig kunnskapsrik og har lært meg mye om vietnamesisk kultur og historie. Han ga så mye og varme inn i gruppen og har stor del av æren for hvor fantastisk turen ble. Jeg anbefaler virkelig turer med «Authentic Ha Giang Tours»!

What an experience! This tour was such fun, the views were incredible. Loved it being a smaller group of 7 too as I felt very safe with my easy rider Diep. Special shout out to our tour guide Chi who was so friendly and helpful the whole trip.
We were given so much food which was all delicious and stopped off at some great coffee spots along the route.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience touring the Ha Giang Loop with Authentic Ha Giang! Our guide, Zaj, spoke great English and was very informative. I learned a lot about the people who live in the Ha Giang Province. I always felt safe with my driver, Tag, which was my biggest concern when doing the Loop. The private rooms were comfortable, and the meals were plentiful, offering vegetarian options.
I would highly recommend booking your tour of the stunning Ha Giang Loop with Authentic Ha Giang! Memories that will last a lifetime.

This tour was life changing for me! My mom, sister, and I were extremely lucky to have Thanh as our amazing tour guide and Nghiep and Huong as our two other easy riders. We did this tour during the Tet holiday so it was just us (which was perfect) but normally it is with a group of 6-8 people max. We did a lot of research and knew we wanted a smaller group because we wanted a more authentic experience and we were lucky to have Thanh all to ourselves! We were able to stop anywhere we wanted and stay for however long we wanted since we weren’t in a group of 20+ people. Even though we were in a small group, we still met many other groups at the homestays and were able to enjoy karaoke and fun evenings with them. This was the perfect tour for us!
Thanh was so knowledgeable about the history of the region, the local ethnic groups, and was able to answer all of our questions about Ha Giang and the people/scenery (and we had a lot of questions). He made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire trip and even stayed up to hang out and sing karaoke at the homestays (the other tour companies’ guides weren’t as fun as Thanh and everyone we met was jealous that we had him all to ourselves). His English was great and he was a great photographer. He helped take pictures of us throughout the trip and got all the best angles!
All of the food we had was delicious and plentiful and the homestays were clean and lovely. We even had private rooms, something a lot of other tour companies don’t offer.
We all felt very safe on our motorbikes the entire time. My mom, who is 59 years old, was nervous to ride but had the most amazing time and felt extremely safe with Thanh as her easy rider. I rode with Nghiep and couldn’t have been happier with my experience. I felt much safer with him driving through the mountains and dirt roads than I ever have on the back of a Grab bike in the cities in Vietnam. My sister rode with Huong and had nothing but great things to say. Anytime they saw us taking videos of each other they would pass by one another to help us get the perfect shot!
Overall, the past three days have exceeded all of my expectations and I am extremely happy we were able to ride with Authentic Ha Giang. I will definitely be returning again and bringing back all of my friends who come to visit so that they can experience this life changing trip!

My mom (59), my brother (24), and I (26) had the best time with Authentic Ha Giang. Originally, we booked with a different group who ended up canceling on us a week before our trip. Thankfully, Authentic Ha Giang was willing to take us in even during the cherished Vietnamese holiday of Tet. We had 2 lovely easy riders and our main tour guide, Thanh. All were fun to be around and did whatever they could to make sure we had a memorable experience. I’ve traveled to more than 35 countries and Authentic Ha Giang far exceeded any experience I’ve had with any other tour company. If you’re looking for a trip with a knowledgeable (and fun!) tour guide and safe easy riders, I would HIGHLY recommend booking with this company.
Before we started, Thanh gave us a detailed overview of the itinerary as well as showed us where we would be going on the map. He frequently discussed the itinerary with us to ensure we were all on the same page about how long we had until each stop and what to expect from the ride ahead (ex: if it would be bumpy or not). It was just the three of us (and our easy riders) and we felt that Thanh gave us such a specialized experience (roadside Karaoke, visit to a local home, told us which food on the side of the mountain was safe to eat, etc.) All other groups had closer to 10 people if not more. We rarely saw other groups during the trip other than at home stays in the evenings which was perfect for fun nights of socializing and karaoke. Because of this we were able to really enjoy the views at each stop and didn’t feel over crowded.
While I think the Ha Giang loop can be quite an intimidating experience for foreign travelers, Authentic Ha Giang kept us safe for the three days of riding. My easy rider (Mr. Huong) was cautious and respectful of other drivers and I never felt unsafe during our trip. Thanks, Huong! know my mom and brother felt the same way. We love an adventure but we like to be safe as well.
Homestays were clean and comfortable and we loved having a private room! We enjoyed yummy food along the way, all the while with Thanh teaching us about the culture and people in the area.
To summarize - book with this group!! We loved Thanh and our easy riders and I’m sure all of the employees at Authentic Ha Giang are of the same caliber. Thank you Thanh, Huong, and Nghiep for this unforgettable experience! CHÚC MỪNG NĂM MỚI!

I took a 3 day-2 night motorbike tour with my adult son and daughter. It was just the three of us on the tour with our guide and two Easy Riders. I was nervous to do the tour because I had never been on a motorbike before, and I have had two hip replacements so I tend to be a little physically cautious. This type of tour was definitely out of my comfort zone - but it turned out to be amazing! Our guide, Thanh, really made the tour something special. I rode with him and he knew I was nervous and he allayed my fears. He showed me everything I needed to know to be comfortable as a passenger. I felt so safe with him the whole time. I was able to relax and take in the incredible mountain views. His knowledge of the local area and the ethnic people was top-tier. I had so many questions about the culture and he answered every one. You could tell that he really loves what he does and that it is important to him that everyone has a great experience. He even helped us change our bus reservation for the ride back to Hanoi. We were able to eat local food, visit a Hmong household in a village, shop local markets and sing karaoke along the way. He did everything possible to make our trip smooth. We didn’t have to worry about a single detail. The home stays were clean and comfortable and the food was delicious. It was a remarkable experience and I was so glad I got the chance to experience Ha Giang from the back of a motorbike.

Myself and my partner had an amazing time on this tour! The tour guide Zaj and easy rider were both fantastic and made us feel right at home and in safe hands. The home stays were all beautiful with amazing views and delicious food. I would definitely do this tour again and hope to stay in touch with the team! Thank you SO much for this amazing experience!!
